Starting to look very good again, must admit his form before fairly recently was patchy to say the least, in recent weeks though he has looked back to his form of 2 seasons ago when we were all raving about him. Stockley achieving more than Rooney has for weeks in a far shorter time. Very positive move by D.M today that paid off against a big,strong, well organised Thistle side, thought McLean did well, but my m.o.t.m was the very impressive Ryan Jack who seems to be getting back to his form of 2 seasons ago.

Certainly have to get closer to them, stop them playing, harass them & stop showing them too much respect. I absolutely hate watching us, even at Pittodrie, standing off them & making them look good. Play to our own considerable strengths, using the wings, we have the pace in our team through the likes of McGinn,Hayes,Pawlett & Wright , we will score goals & very likely concede, but i would rather get beat 4 3 than sit too deep and get beat 4 0. Be more attack minded & also get in their faces from the k.o, we are far too nice & we need a nasty streak, most teams have one (at least).

I thought Niall was turning in a few tired performances before his break & i must admit to slating him a few times. Since he came back he has been stunning, last night, he was simply immense, one assist & 2 goals, 2 against Stranraer aswell. Hope he's nae playing for a move

I thought McKenna acquitted himself quite well when i saw him play, but was never ever convinced by Shankland.

Taylor was pretty solid as he often is, just happens to be the scapegoat just now. His distribution isnt great but either is Reynolds t.b.h. I dont think ive seen many centre halves in my life that are great passers of the ball. Taylor uses his physique very well.

Another comfortable win for the dandies, which makes it 5 in a row. The break seems to have done them good, McGinn in particular looks refreshed & in top form, has to be said these wins have been achieved despite our main striker who has been very poor for a while, Stockley or even Storey could not do worse at the moment. Been a strange season so far for the under 20s, some good results mixed with some terrible ones(one in particular Mabye so many players out on loan has a lot to do with it.

Must admit to have never seen the hype about Cammy Smith, bar 1 or 2 matches, never saw any part of his game that excited me. Would love to be proved wrong. Dont think he has a future at Aberdeen f.c & i think he will be gone sooner rather than later.
