  1. The fact folk have voted for Curtis Main might be a wee hint that not everyone is taking this seriously? ?
  2. If Ferguson stays, and him & Brown are playing together as the 2 sitting midfielders, they’ll rack up more yellow cards than any central midfielders in the league. Scott Brown won’t have his yellow & red card immunity he had at the Tims, where he could commit 5 or 6 fouls before the referee did something about it.
  3. Atlanta Utd’s first team has Jake Mulraney & Emerson Hyndman in it. Can’t be that good.
  4. The last window was nothing to do with McInnes. He was raging he was scrabbling about on the last day signing three on loan. Cormack clearly blocked things earlier in the window. ”There are a lot of things am no happy aboot” was his direct quote... that was clearly one of them.
  5. Aye, there’s 9 contracted players out of contract & 4 currently on loan so potentially 13 leaving. Probably looking at up to 10 players coming in with a couple of youngsters promoted. Who’s Head of Recruitment now? Has Russ Richardson gone too? I’d wager we’ll get a couple of loans from Atlanta, which fills me with dread.
  6. We’ll scrape a 1-0 I reckon
  7. The BBC maybe sniff a shock. A 0-0 and penalties shoot out. It wouldn’t surprise me. If Dumbarton go 5-4-1 we’ll be clueless about breaking them down.
  8. Disagree We’ve had the occasional blip defensively (Ross County away, ‘Well at home), but generally been ok - stats back that up. Once Watkins, Wright & Hedges disappeared we’ve been lamentable going forward. We need pace & creativity in the team, and “legs” and energy if we are to become a “high press” team.
  9. The Old Firm?..... hang on a second, wait until Mr McFly fires up his Delorean
  10. Griffiths is a busted flush. Barely fit enough to play 30 minutes.
  11. There are as yet undiscovered tribes in the Amazonian jungle who knew Stephen Glass was going to be the next Dons manager.
  12. Alex Neill has a job lined up in England allegedly.
  13. Ah well, various outlets running with Stephen Glass being appointed. What a fucking surprise. He has zero credentials for the job & wouldn’t be even mentioned but for Atlanta. How uninspiring an appointment. Cormack’s puppet in place
  14. I think Neill will take a break for a couple of months & get a decent club in England in the summer. He’ll still have a relatively good reputation down there, that someone the size of an Ipswich/Sunderland type of club will appoint (not them as they have new managers, but that kind of stature). He’s not even 40 yet & in the main done well. He’d see it as a come down to come back to Scotland so early.... maybe after another failure he might not have a choice, but he will just now. Brace yourselves for the Cormack selling of Stephen Glass next week ?
  15. As long as he doesn’t bring Jayden Stockley back with him
  16. Not a chance we’d get a manager straight after being sacked from an EPL club. He’ll get a good job at a decent Championship club with aspirations of promotion.
  17. Connor McLennan? God help us if he’s playing in the starting X1 regularly. Doesn’t have a football brain, constantly makes the wrong decisions, runs up blind alleys, trips over the ball & runs it out of play. Incidentally, Hayes has been poor on his return too, disappointingly.
  18. Maybe, but it’s the manager who assembles the mid-table squad together. McInnes has left a shit storm behind.
  19. Or just use it as a reason for accepting the “best of the rest trophy”. If we were winning cups more regularly (say every 5 years) then the meek acceptance would be more tolerated.
  20. Griffiths to Hibs when Nisbet is sold in the summer.
  21. Aye I’d rather “try” something different like Glass as opposed to Robinson. We’d as well have kept McInnes if we appointed Robinson. Shaun Maloney might be an interesting option too. I think we’ll end up with Glass. Not Briwn though think he’ll get some sort of coaching job at Celtic maybe. And where’s the Leigh Griffiths stuff coming from. Do we have any XXXXL shirts available?
  22. Not many are, apart from Cormack allegedly. Get his yes man in place so he can keep control.
  23. A bit like Glass and his record in Atlanta then.
