  1. Nae sure if I posted this clip at Brexit time, but this guys worth a listen
  2. His appearances/appearance were enough to haunt anyone...
  3. Bit of confusion with the 'not a regular starter',along with the 'pivotal' player comments.Had a look and he played 25 times last season.Cant find the sub appearances but he averaged around 35mins a game going by stats. 17 off the bench according to p and j
  4. Know nothing about the boy,but mildly surprised he's chosen here ahead of the championship, but welcome aboard to the loon.Got to be an upgrade on Rooney/Stewart/Wilson on the wing
  5. Oops, aye youre right, getting mixed up with Ujpest Dozsa.Farsma specs....
  6. If that was a mild attempt at humour, stick to specs min I'll take the same scoreline as last time we played them though Despite over 45 years of the Dons, have never been on a Euro away jolly.Time to remedy that.Watching the draw with interest......
  7. Poor move(for them),just the stimulus the Hun need,........not ruling out us having an amazing transfer window though
  8. Remember it well too, warm sunny weather.Beat Southampton 5 -1 ,won the other and drew one I think? Wasnt too many opposition fans up for it,but seem to remember a West 'Am hard case givin it large in the SS.
  9. 'Hat's off ...... ......loved Neil Sedaka
  10. Easy cheesy listening - the California Honey drops. Top Sax solo
  11. Had his flaws, but we'll miss his drive, and also the local loon link with the fans.Midfield wasnt his natural position and hoping we can find a more complete replacement,as well as someone to compliment Ferguson,....though am struggling to think of names out there??? Good luck to him though, gave his all.
  12. Andy Geoghean, theres a blast fae the past,....and not forgetting goal a game keeper, Marc de Clerq
  13. Chuffed with this, been one of the hardest positions to fill for us the last few years .Likeable chap seems to like it here,as much as we like him...half the battle. Super Joe
  14. Cheers.A couple of local, more family friendly walks since the weathers so fine lately The Princess cairns,Balmoral.Think theres about 5 cairns erected by various phases of the Royal family since the 1800s.Only came across them by accident, but a fine wee wander if youve kids, they involve a bit of searching since some of the paths are pretty indistinct https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairngorms/balmoral-cairns.shtml Hill of Newe,Glen Buchat Strathdon - An easy hill, about an hour up an hour down with great views of the surrounding valley and countryside. The quiet roads within Glen Buchat are a fine wander in themselves at this time of year with various wildlife pinging about,Glen Buchat castle nearby https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairngorms/ben-newe.shtml One of the Balmoral cairns
  15. Latest adventure recently was the 4 Munro circuit called the Ring of Steall,up Glen Nevis,Fort William.A long day(10-12 hrs),with narrow ridges and bits of scrambling for added fun.John,my walking pal, recently did the Mont Blanc traverse,ie a high alpine route through the Alps, avoiding summits),and said this route was as close as it's felt to being an alpine route.Typical section below Route details here https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/ringofsteall.shtml If that route doesnt float your boat,The walk up Glen Nevis(around an hours walk there, hour back) is worth a wander in itself, walking thru a rocky narrow gorge, ending at one of the best waterfalls in Scotland(Falls of Steall).Only downside is if you want to get right up and close to the waterfall, you have to cross this wire bridge to get to it.2 wires for hands, one wire for feet.Click to enlarge Failing that theres a shallow crossable stream to the right if yuove a pair of crocs or wellies
  16. First trip to Pittodrie was during his tenure.Gutted when he left. Doubt you'll get many opposition fans with a bad word to say about him.Always managed to maintain a bit of decorum about him, whatever results his various sides had. A true Gent
  17. Personally no,I think he prefers to be out of the limelight.Think his left back days are over though,or should be,but a very able defensive stand in for presumably modest money.Keep
  18. Finished 1 - 0,Killiie ending with another red card on 94 mins.A brutal game,good win
  19. McKenna 1 -0
  20. Going right off beards myself.....
  21. Good source close to the club, cant name, but understand your scepticism re wages, seems mental, lets see what happens
  22. Shinnie almost a cert for Derby, and the Stewart to the Hun rumour looks true,@£10k per week
  23. Meant to have a builder round to discuss but havnt heard back. Those Hufhaus ones looka bit out my range, nice as they are.In discussions with another builder of Joiner background to see if he could knock up something similar wood based who gave me a rough quote of about £1000/m2 for a new build.Put off a bit by the CLT stuff because it hasnt been around long enough to assess over time, though it does seem to be building a bit of rep.. http://www.constructionmanagermagazine.com/insight/clt-coming-age/
  24. Wheel him out as a sub for taking penalties to nudge him over the 200 mark.
