Who is to say that Mercedes wanted him at "Brawn" anyway? They will still be very keen to have an all German line-up no matter what they may say publically and aside from that, there are enough doubts about the competitiveness off next years motor at Brawn. Don't think it's a bad move at all for Button, he's getting twice his wages (still very cheap for a world champ though) and driving a potentially much better car at a team, however it is set up, evidently wanted him. I know what you're saying MBT but I kinda understand Nicholson and Severin leaving, both about 30, last chance for any kind of pay day and they may well have been completely fucked off playing in Scotland. Both went to clubs with at least aspirations to the premiership and smaller clubs have done it. Even when you consider others who have came back pretty pronto to Scotland you have to have some sort of belief in your ability to cut it in a more competitive league and get paid much more money in the process. All that said, the fan in me says something a bit fucking different!

Pretty much the size of it mizer, comes down to lack of motivation or confidence or both. He is a talented player, not blessed with pace but talented. He is also not blessed with a great work ethic so maybe needs an impending hoof up his shiter. If his workrate stayed the same as that of the last half hour against Hibs he and we wouldn't be concerned at all.
