  1. Thats what made me think it was the better of his two nominations
  2. According to some rag we have been priced out of a move for this guy Crusaders want 50k for him
  3. Voted for Langfield so good to see he won it Thought Mackies goal away at ICT was better than the one that ended up winning
  4. Rangers will beat United comfortably 3-1 Aberdeen will huff and puff in the 1st half with nothing to show for it but score 2 in the 2nd half Then its party time
  5. Madjid Bougherra and Kyle Lafferty of Rangers and Charlie Mulgrew of Aberdeen have been referred to the Scottish FA Review Panel. Referee Stuart Dougal, having reviewed the footage of the match, has decided that the incident that took place between Mulgrew and Lafferty should not have resulted in a red card for the Aberdeen player. It will now be for the Review Panel to decide what, if any action, should be taken against Mulgrew. The Review Panel will also consider whether or not Kyle Lafferty has a case to answer when it comes to committing an alleged act of simulation. Should they decide that there is a case to answer, the matter will be referred to the next meeting of the Scottish FA Disciplinary Committee. Referee Stuart Dougal has also reviewed the circumstances surrounding the sending off of Madjid Bougherra. The player had been dismissed as a result of what the Assistant Referee considered to be an act of violent conduct by the player following the initial challenge on the Aberdeen goalkeeper. Having examined the footage, the referee has decided that the player should not have received a red card for violent conduct. It will now be for the Review Panel to decide what, if any, action should be taken against the player. The Review Panel will be convened this week. It is made up of a former player, manager and referee. http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_fa_news.cfm?page=279&newsID=4656
  6. I dont think fans of most SPL clubs will let it be forgotten next season either The SFA could use the same UEFA rule that banned Mikoliunas from international games for 2 games after his dive against Scotland, although 6 games should be more like it for the cheating rat cunt
  7. At least we would start the season with proper competitive matches already played tho which cant be bad Although we could also be out of Europe a la huns before the season starts right enough
  8. The displays looked much better in the RDS but obviously they not gonna be back there for a while
  9. Whats the chances of it hitting 18-19,000 this week ? Hopefully a decent turnout and celebrations at 2.45
  10. A win at home on Tuesday coupled with a Celtic win against Dundee United and it sets it up nicely for the last 2 games. Surely if Kerrs red for dissent is as bad a decision as being made out elsewhere it will be overturned on appeal ??
  11. I just got a call from someone heading up for the game and apparently someone has put a big banner up on a flyover on the Dundee-Aberdeen road saying "who fiddled all the kids - big jock knew" and the police are trying in vain to get it down again
  12. In/Out/Shake it all about - Out Prediction - 3-2 us Pre match - In the house During Match - In the house watching on TV Post Match - Work

I have see a fair bit of Hearts throughout a season as my old man is a Jambo and he is one of those players that half the support like and the other half dont, a bit like Foster but better at defending Cregg is one that AFC should be approaching but is there a Dunfermline connection with him for JC to follow on ? As for Lovell, would he really want to come back ? 8 goals is poor from a striker but in all fairness it is more than most of ours have this season I suppose

Lovell seems to have spent less time injured this season but hasnt really done anything at Falkirk What I would really like to see is someone go back to 1995 and bring us Duncan Shearer, Lee Richardson and Eoin Jess but its no gonna happen! Robbie Neilson would be outside the pay structure but would be a decent player at the back along side Zander, Mulgrew and say Cregg ?

From that list alone I would like to see the following at AFC although one or two may not be in our wage structure Patrick Cregg, Falkirk midfielder 23 Robbie Neilson, Hearts defender 28 Saulius Mikoliunas, Hearts midfielder 24 Ruben Palazuelos, Hearts midfielder 26 Bruno Aguiar, Hearts midfielder 28 Derek Riordan, Hibs striker 26 Brian Kerr, Inverness midfielder 27 Paul Quinn, Motherwell defender 23 Stephen Hughes, Motherwell midfielder 26
  16. Lee Richardson could be a good shout actually, manages on a shoestring (simialr to what he would get from Milne) Dont think it would be right to give Windass his first crack at management tho Willie Miller, Rico or Curbishley for me, I ken I said Nicholl and Hughes the other night after the game but that was anger and drink talking then haha
  17. The difference is we allegedly have better players than at Falkirk and would be a step up for Hughes, how many folk have thought time and time again " he knows whats supposed to happen and speaks his mind pity our manager isnt like that" ??
  18. Wonder if she is as pissed off as the rest of us ?
  19. The only right way out of this so the club keeps whats left of its name is for JC to leave on his own terms Someone posted somewhere about who would replace him ?? Lets get Hughes in from Falkirk and watch football the way it should be and in a way that would suit some of the players we have
  20. Not been on either side of the fence but tonight was one time too many for me! JC couldnt get his tactics right if he had bough them from Jade Goodys corners shop in mint flavour !! His choice of subs tonight had me almost sacked as was working but had game on in the bar (fair enough Considine for Mair as Mair pulled something) but cmon, taking Bebo off and bringing on Duff ?? The game at that point was calling out for Tommy Wright to come on Severin needs to go at the end of season too, Lee Wilkies father is staying at the hotel I work in and his words to me were "Seve is turning into a poor mans Barry Ferguson" sums him up really just now Still too angry to even think straight about what im typing but enoughs enough
  21. Alternativly watch it in the pub
  22. Does 3rd place not get straight into the group stages ? On 26th Feb there was something in one of the papers saying "Uefa has confirmed that three Scottish teams will qualify for next season's inaugural Europa League - including either the Scottish Cup winners or runners-up with 3rd place in the SPL going straight into the Group Stages "
  23. The Scottish FA can now confirm the match arrangements for the Semi Finals of this year's Homecoming Scottish Cup. Saturday 25 April 2009 12:15 Live on Sky Sports Rangers v St Mirren Sunday 26 April 2009 15:00 Falkirk v Dunfermline Athletic or Aberdeen
  24. Got a good feeling about this match for some reason. Didnt make it down to Tynie last season for the game thankfully but last 3 or 4 times I have been we have never lost and im going this weekend. 2-1 Aberdeen and I hope Severin scores to shut the minks up
