So the attendance on Sunday was only 13,134 and say about 1000 Hearts fans (heard they took heaps for them)? That means only 12000ish Aberdeen fans turned up for the first home game of the season. Now I know the game was played on a Sunday so less people can go and it was also on the telly - but for the big important opening game that attendance is a shocker! Especially after we took 6,500 down to Dundee last week. Thoughts?

So the next victory will see our season starting according to Jimmy. Lets look at our fixtures (taking into consideration he admits we are not playing well): Celtic – no chance we will win Hibs away – They are on form, so probably no win there Killie away – We always struggle down there so doesn’t look good for a win Motherwell – Mark McGhee has built a strong and fit squad, on current form we wont beat them Rangers – No chance Gretna – 29th September, is this when our season starts?

I couldna make the game even though I was up north due to my sick granny. I met some of my mates after the game in Archies and after I had heard the result from thechimp saying we were pish. All the dons fans in archies had a dejected face on them and on seeing each other shook thier heads in disbelief at how bad we were. It was like we had lost 3,4-0 and after everybody say how shit we were, how confused abody was by the tactial tombola (at least 8 formations), one up front, seve at the back, etc etc I understood. The worring bit is that abody was petrified at what the score will be next week - people fearing a ebbe era scoreline if the same performance was delivered.

As you said we never turned up to too many games last season, but we were lucky (you make your own luck) as we had better and fitter players. DY is not better or going on what I have heard fitter than the average SPL player
