England v Scotland

Scotland to get 20,000 tickets for the game which can be reserved with Hampden "Season Ticket" which go on sale tomorrow

ENGLAND AWAY MATCH RESERVATION GUIDELINES

BACKGROUND

The English FA have invited the Scotland Men’s A Squad to take part in a special one-off exhibition match against England to celebrate their 150th Anniversary.

MATCH INFORMATION

International Challenge Match

ENGLAND v SCOTLAND

Wembley Stadium, LONDON

Wednesday 14 August 2013 – kick off time to be confirmed

TICKET PRICE(s)

The Ticket price(s) are still to be confirmed by the English FA.

TICKET ALLOCATION

The English FA have offered our Association the opportunity of up to 20,000 tickets.

In order to confirm our intention to use this full quantity of tickets (approx. 22% of the stadium) we cannot wait until June 2013 when we would normally apply the tickets to the away points levels after the Croatia match.

Therefore, we must gauge levels of demand now subject to the circumstance of this special one-off match.

Therefore 5,000 tickets have been protected and will be used in June 2013 after Croatia and applied in the normal away allocation process, where tickets are offered first to those members on 10 points, 9 points and so on until all tickets are allocated.

5,000 tickets is approx. 5.5% of the allocation of Wembley capacity and a standard UEFA away allocation.

RESERVATION PROCESS

The remaining 15,000 tickets can be reserved by Scotland Supporters Club members on a first come first served basis once they purchase a Scotland Season Ticket for the 2012/2013 World Cup Qualification campaign.

Members will be asked to indicate via a simple “tick box” process on-line if they wish to reserve an England ticket.

Members without an email or requiring Disabled Section access can call 0141 616 6196 / 7 / 8 / 9.

Members will also be asked to provide a credit or debit card to guarantee their reservation and for any other member on whose behalf they are purchasing a Scotland Season Ticket.

No payment will be taken at this time.

Once ticket prices are confirmed you will be contacted by email or telephone to advise when payment would be applied to your nominated credit or debit card. This will be approximately 7 days after notification. You will have the choice at that time to “opt out” of the process and cancel your reservation(s) otherwise payment will be taken on the due date.

Thanks anyway. The moment has passed. The 3rd English goal kinda killed it.

Cracking game on TV here, Germany 3-3 v. Paraguay.

Shame about the result but some massive positives from that.

Same level of performance next time please!

Meme to GS:

Find some central defenders that CAN ACTUALLY FUCKING DEFEND! :hammer: :hammer:

(Or at least jump and head the ball?)

Was that an attempt at zonal marking? Didn't seem to be much of one or the other, either way it was bordering on the preposterous at every set piece.  A good team performance in terms of will to win, attitude, fight and a decent fist of attacking England let down by something that happens on the training ground essentially.  That's Strachan's bag, not the lads asked to carry out his instructions.

Raging I didn't get to see more than the last 15 mins.

Glad at least there was skme credibility in the result, but over all I can't help thinking the u-21 result is much more significant considering England were jammy as fuck and didn't play a full strength team (alledgedly).

Given how bad England's u-21s are, are our next crop of internationalists really so bad that they can get done 6 by them?? Hopefully just a total freak result, but given we have K Miller et al in the senior squad, I'd be hoping some u-21s are ready to step up.

I thought it was a great game, we should play them more often!

Thought we deserved a draw, we lost some poor goals - particularly the third one - where was the marking?

Great performance though and you can't fault Kenny Miller, excellent goal.

I couldn't believe how well he played!  :o  Best game i've ever seen him have.  Absolutely bossed their back line, held the ball and what a finish. Such composure.

Don't get me started on Shittaker though, fuck me. What a woeful excuse of a player. It amused me a lot that Snodgras was giving him shit from the first shite ball.

All in all, a great performance and just shows how much of a cunt Levein was.  That team has spirit, drive and best of all, passing ability!  Just the defence that needs sorting out.

I did end up with puke all over my shirt and duvet on the Monday night but avoided having to go to the hospital on this trip. I'm now hospital free since 2008 :)
