May 7, 201115 yr comment_108177 At Cheltenham we had a player called Brian Wilson who was homesick for Stoke, so he moved to Bristol City. Report
May 7, 201115 yr comment_108179 Disappointed with this one, but as with most players who leave here, I can't help but think he'll not do any better. Think he'll end up League One or lower. Report

July 17, 201114 yr comment_111313 I think he's technically still contracted to the club, but it appears no-one has been in for him. It's a shame he didn't want to stay because I think the upcoming season may have seen the best of him return. Report
July 17, 201114 yr comment_111315 Theres no such thing as technically still contracted to anyone He either is or he isnt and given hes on the official sites squad list at Number 11 id say that means he is. So if no one comes in for him and he isnt prepared to buy himself out of his contract then hes there to be utilised. Report

So if no one comes in for him and he isnt prepared to buy himself out of his contract then hes there to be utilised. I know that, but it was from reading elsewhere that some people seemed to think they would be shorter. Which didn't make sense. I think he is contracted with us till the end of August? So in that case, he should be in pre season training with the rest of the team and preparing for the duration of the season he would participate in. I certainly think we need someone of his calibre and creativity, whether he wants to do that or not is another matter. Report
July 17, 201114 yr comment_111321 His contract expired at the end of June. He is under contract to no club, however any club wishing to sign him still has to pay us 200k compensation. He won't be back, as I'd imagine the wages offered to him have been used elsewhere now. Report

July 18, 201114 yr comment_111379 All mentions from Brown, Fraser and Miller have been that his contract ended at the end of June. Where did the Aug/Sept thing come from anyway? Not a chance in hell we're paying a player till September but allowing him not to turn up for training or matches. Report

Aluko’s agent has confirmed the winger, who turned down the new contract offered by Aberdeen FC last season, has still to find another club. Aberdeen boss Craig Brown admits he would be happy to take Aluko back, but warned the 24-year-old he would have to make the first move. Slow news day. Report
