Aberdeen manager Craig Brown is resigned to losing attacker Sone Aluko after the Nigeria international told him he wants to return to England.

The 22-year-old has been offered a new contract by the Dons, but wants a move away from Pittodrie.

The offer remains on the table, but Brown fears he will lose the services of one of his key players this summer.

I hope someone goes right through him within two minutes of his debut and injures him for a month or two.

So, strictly speaking the hun down't own him............?

Shades of Tevez at West Ham?

thought FIFA UEFA banned all that shite?

Of course it doesnt. The Tevez thing was all about 3rd party ownership, the club he played for didn't own his registration completely.  Rangers have registered Aluko by themselves, its just that Aluko is paying the compensation we are due in order for us to allow rangers to register his as their player.

Totally difference situation.

Has anyone actually seen this agent? Sone Aluko, 419

Fair point, I wasm\n't sure if it was ALL to do with registration though.

However, this does set a dangerous precident, in that any moron with money can "pay compensation" for any player to sign for "their" club (or any club for that matter).

Or is it just me that sees a problem brewing here?

Aluko isn't the first person to pay his own compensation and he wont be the last. There's absolutely no issue with it at all.

Bet he comes out of the traps like a man possessed tomorrow against Killie.

Will probably have the HUN faithful frothing at the mouths with excitement.

I however will give it until New Year until Aluko falls back into bad habits and becomes a lazy good for nothing passenger in the Hun team

Started for the huns today. Just fell over like a fanny.

Just seen him tracking back defending level with his own eighteen yard line :o

No danger that'll last :wanker:

penalty awarded?

Referee couldn't award one, it was too far from the box.

Killie 1-0 up and apparently Aluko played Pascali onside by not stepping up with the rest of the rangers team

Aluko plays Pascali onside. 1-0 Kille.

"Aluko has just been lazy" says Andy Walker.  ;D

That's Aluko paid back some of his transfer fee alrea . . . . . . oh, wait.

Wonder what the daily record sports writers will be saying about Aluko now  ;D

I know that, what I'm more concerned is that it would now seem that anyone with enough money could buy out a contract for a player then "place" him with whichever club he wants, then that club can register him.
