According to Mad, Brown has said that he's hopeful of signing a defensive midfielder currently playing in England but with experience in Scotland.

 

Gavin Rae is being suggested.

Would have been nice to get him in but being honest I'm much happier getting in smith, a quality left back was a much bigger priority in my eyes than a young central midfielder.
