Pawlett injury

I'm not one to post rumours, and have heard the following from a very reliable source....

Pawlett injured his toe and was asked to play with injections. He refused, which apparently McGhee didnae take kindly to. Pawlett asked for a second opinion, and last Monday was at a specialist in Glasgow who said the only way forward was an operation on his toe and if he had played on as Aberdeen wished then he would have had a very short career.

He will be out for at least 6 weeks.

Well if true, good on pawlett. Either way, i hope this operation sorts it out and he's back soon. Every man and his dog knows we need him.

ABERDEEN FC midfielder Peter Pawlett could be sidelined for another month.

Teenager Pawlett is recovering after undergoing surgery to repair a broken toe.

Manager Mark McGhee said: “It looks as if it will be at least another four weeks before Peter is able to train properly.

“It’s a shame because he had started the season well.”

:stretcher:

Had he fuck started the season well.

Still rather have him out of position in our current team than on the sidelines.
