Kowalski Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 I was at the Athletics at Hampden on Saturday and the organisers have decided that no matter where you are sitting, everybody is going through the same entrance (at the East End of the stadium) which resulted in a huge queue all the way up Prospecthill Road as far as Queens Park. They are going to do the same thing for the Commonwealth Games and there were only 10,000 - 15,000 there on Saturday so I reckon it'll be chaos during the games where the stadium will be presumably full. Was told there were no bussed because the Rugby had finished early. Load of pish. Hampden really is a terrible stadium. Really can't be arsed heading down again this weekend for the Closing Ceremony. I'm assuming that previous medal tallies do not include the para sports which have been integrated this year!? I see the shooting competition is being held in Carnoustie, I presume that's because they were worried about the competitors being shot at if they had held it in Glasgow!
