Good v Evil 2010/11 Round 1

So what do we think for Sunday?

Apart from the fucking ridiculous kick off time (we're leaving Glasgow at 0830 FFS fuck sake)

After two good wins followed by two poor/terrible losses we seem to have steadied the ship with a draw and win both after coming from behind.  More than that we actually progressed in a cup game that we should, on paper, be winning (how often have we said that in the last few years?).

With so many players missing however and their new winger liable to have the freedom of Pittodrie I'm pretty worried about the game.  Yes we have a great record at home vs them but will that be enough?  I doubt we'll be seeing Wattie come up here playing for a draw as he has done in the recent past for example.

Fingers crossed big Vern gets on the score sheet again and the defence manage to keep their wits about them for more than 10seconds and we might get something.......I'll take 0-0 now.

1 game ban for violent behaviour? I thought it was automatic 3 game ban?

McGregor really is a top drawer dispicable Hun.

You'd have thought that he might have learned his lesson from the Hibs incident.

Could be he is so thick, or thinks that he's above the law, and just won't learn.

Currently right up there with Lafferty, McCulloch & Naismith

I see McGhee has waded in. No quotes right enough.

PROBE: Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

ABERDEEN FC boss Mark McGhee today criticised the SFA’s decision to consider banning Rangers and Scotland keeper Allan McGregor.

McGregor will find out today if he is to be suspended for one match for aiming a kick at Chris Maguire during their 3-2 win over Aberdeen FC at Pittodrie last month.

Aberdeen FC striker Michael Paton will also find out today if his appeal against the red card shown to him at Inverness last weekend has been successful.

McGhee said it was “ludicrous” that the SFA are using video evidence to decide if McGregor had a case to answer, despite thE fact Aberdeen FC have not complained about the incident with Maguire.

Why he's felt the need to say anything about this is beyond me.

Was just about to post this.  Fuck knows why he's waded in.

As if he didn't have enough pressure from the fans as it is why the fuck is he standing up for that fucking scumbag (although I'll quite believe the quotes are totally out of context)
