It isn't working. i.e. no email sent out.

 

This is especially relevant at the moment as many people probably rely on Firefox to remember their password, and the URL change scuppers that.

I'm currently investigating why the email password reminder is not working. I believe it's an SMTP-relaying issue, so may take a couple of days to resolve.

 

In the meantime, if you set a secret question in your profile, simply tick the "Ask me my question" box and the system will ask you your password reminder question. If you get it right, you'll be prompted to choose a new password.

 

Alternatively, if it's Firefox that you're using, go to Tools > Options > Security > Saved Passwords

 

Once in here, click "Show Passwords" and look for the password you used to have saved for when the site was on the url www.thedandies.co.uk. It's the same password as on the new site.

 

Ultimately, if you get REALLY REALLY stuck, drop me an email to reekie_red@hotmail.com and I'll reset your password for you. Just tell me your registration email address, your real name and your DT username so that I can verify who you are. No verification details, no password reset.

E mail is now being sent out.
