For money? No! For the love of the club? Yes! It's no secret that Deano loved his time with us. He was a solid fans' favourite at a time when we also had the likes of Duncan Shearer, Billy Dodds, Eoin Jess and Scott Booth on our books. He's had some bumper payday deals with some half-decent English sides, and has been to Wembley a few times too on cup-final duty. His brother was ten times the player Eoin was, but Eoin's brother disappeared abroad to work and a month later Eoin made it. Eoin admits this himself, he always said his brother was the better player and I've heard this from couple of guys who grew up with the Jess brothers. It was quite interesting to hear actually. I used to see him and his mates having a kick-around in Stoney when he was a kid, and two of his mates in particular were VERY impressive. Ran circles around Duncan.
