That pen was ropey as fuck. The guy dived, but the player missed his front leg and caught his trailing leg after he'd already let his legs go. It's a nonsense that we can have unsporting crap like that being a pen, and then the ridiculous hand ball in the Czech game being given as a pen too.

Agree that Swiss player dived for penalty . Hate the way it was called clever forward play. It’s cheating.

Edit: also, the commentator said that Turkey would be going home, but they can still get through if they win their next match. There is a good chance that third place in this group finishes below Scotland, if we only lose by a goal. All the others are up in the air a bit.

I think they are still out. If they finish level on points with Oz, then the head to head record means that Australia will finish above them.

I didn't realise that head to head came into it. That's a nonsense in a four team group. Why on earth would they deliberately make third fixtures in groups have nothing to play for?

Yes, it's head to head first, then goal difference, goals scored, Eurovision Song Contest placings, a square go and then drawing of lots if they still can't be separated.
