Blow.Up.Sheep Posted Wednesday at 06:59 Report Posted Wednesday at 06:59 Sorry Swaddon, but I just had to get this up and over and done with............. we move on. Stephen Robinson takes his bunch of charlatans down the A90 to Dens Park in Dundee this weekend for what is thankfully our final game of what has truly been a fukin dreadful season. We avoided the dreaded playoff spot (job done) Avoid defeat at Dens Park and we will finish 8th and runners up in the bottom six table to the jutes. Defeat (which I think will happen) and we will finish the season in a totally embarrassing 9th place behind both Scumdee sides a nd wuite possibly just goal difference keeping us ahead of 10th place KIlmarnock. What a fukin shambles of a season Personally don't think it is going to end well either. 2-0 to Dundee and we close this chapter (finally) and move on and allow Robinson to start the major MAJOR overhaul required. At least we winna be playing championship fitba next season which to be honest looked like a real possibility a few weeks ago. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted Wednesday at 07:46 Report Posted Wednesday at 07:46 Was going down to this, but last night broke me. Couldn't give a shit about it. 2 Quote

It's hard to tell, can you confirm one way or another if you enjoyed this season or not? 3 Quote
Panda Posted Wednesday at 17:01 Report Posted Wednesday at 17:01 Kevin Nisbet has scored in every game he's ever played at Dens Park. This includes when he played for Dunfermline. He never played there for Hibs (though did score v Dundee at Easter Road). Whether he scores or not is the real story in Scottish football this week.  4 Quote
Ajja Posted Wednesday at 17:04 Report Posted Wednesday at 17:04 Heading up for this, looking forward to my last engagement with this team in its current guise. Roll on the LC group stage. Quote
CurlsLikeTattie Posted Wednesday at 20:45 Report Posted Wednesday at 20:45 I went into this season with hope that Jimmy would find his way and we would give a good showing of ourselves. So much hope. Next season I will revert back to the default pessimism when it comes to the dons. That way I reckon we'll get minimum 3rd and 1 cup. 4-1 is against Dundee. Why not eh! 2 Quote
BigAl Posted Thursday at 12:30 Report Posted Thursday at 12:30 Cheatin' Beaton is TBITB for Sunday's game. Easiest bet of the day is that twenty two players won't be on the park at the end 2 Quote

GASC1980 Posted Thursday at 20:51 Report Posted Thursday at 20:51 What I find astonishing is that we have sold out our allocation for this game and have in fact been given a bigger allocation!!! Quote

The fans continue to do their bit week in week out and we are without a doubt the best fans in Scotland. Shame we cant say the same about the team on the park. Next season will be better the only way is up Quote
manc_don Posted yesterday at 06:06 Report Posted yesterday at 06:06 Next season has to better. This was such a missed opportunity, before a ball was even kicked! Anyway, couldn’t really care less about the game, but it would be nice to end with some positivity, hopefully that’s not too much to ask for. Quote

Problem with ending positively is, the powers the be might forget the previous 37 games and think "oh, these players can maybe do a job for us next season" Quote
STFU_Donny Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Does finishing 8th or 9th have any impact on league cup seeding? Quote

This is what the beaks presented last year, if that helps? “Teams are drawn into eight groups of five based on final league positions in 2024/25. As was the case for the past three seasons, there is no regionalisation in the group stage.” 1 Quote
BigAl Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago 10 hours ago, STFU_Donny said: Does finishing 8th or 9th have any impact on league cup seeding? It won't have any bearing as the teams that qualify for Europe who will obviously have finished above us will be excluded from the draw meaning we are guaranteed a seeding regardless of finishing 8th, 9th or 10th. 1 Quote
Jute Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Totally forgot we had a game today until mate messaged he was at Haymarket earlier and penny dropped to why he would be there that early on a Sunday. Doubt going to bother watching today and just want this season over with. Quote
Don Julio Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Can’t bring myself not to watch it. My only hope is we see some fringe players given an opportunity. Otherwise a complete waste of time. Quote
RicoS321 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Just now, RicoS321 said: Suman! Kjartansson! Could be a 3-5-2, or a 4-3-3? I'm guessing the latter. Robinson has mentioned he prefers it, and he might as well experiment. Quote

Slim Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Would have let Cameron sit this one out and give someone who is more likely to be here next season a game. 1 Quote
Slim Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Has Pressley been on the Ozempic? Looks incredibly skinny. Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Our keeper Suman, looks a bit like Ryan Christie. First time I've ever seen a picture of the loon. Quote
