OrlandoDon Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I suppose why not just say fuck it. Mitov has been poor, we had no right mid, center mids poor etc, just rip it up and start again. def an element of season starts here. Just a mini season to experiment until the new gaffer starts. Quote
blinlemon Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I have no idea how that’s going to shape up. I had to dial up AFC Heritage’s website to identify fa half the feckers are. I think the last time I was this uncertain was when we played Celtic in January 66, and Turnbull played Ally Shewan at right back, and John McCormick (centre half) at left back, with some new-fangled midfield formation that I failed to understand. We beat the green mob 3-1 though! I am very old. https://www.afcheritage.org/matches/match-report?id=2723 1 1 Quote

I suspect the defence might be a touch weak, but nothing new there. Not convinced that Olusanya is a wide player, but not many other options. Personally I think the result will hinge on how well the two new midfielders settle 2bh Quote
swaddon Posted 1 hour ago Author Report Posted 1 hour ago Squad number 99 can get tae. Goalkeepers should wear 1, 23 or 30. Quote

Can they all play?? keeper central defenders and center mids are the key to any team. If our center mids are legit them I think we’re good, time will tell! Quote
InversneckieDob Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Jaysus, that's an odd looking line up. Let's see what happens..... Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 58 minutes ago Report Posted 58 minutes ago I’m certainly good with olusanya at right mid. Morris was mediocre but teach him to knock it on the outside and run and he was effective. Very intrigued, no clue what to expect today! Quote

He wasn't particularly good at that with St Mirren, his best work was balls over the top and harassing defenders, so hopefully we've spent two weeks training him to cut the ball back. The biggest problem will be his lack of defensive abilities. Not convinced he has the temperament to track his man. Quote
Don Julio Posted 36 minutes ago Report Posted 36 minutes ago Going to be interesting. Feels like anything could happen. Quote

Rarely seen him play and you may well be right, but asking a guy to stay wide, kick it past a defender on the outside and run, isn’t complicated. Morris figured it out and he appeared to be a very low intellect player. I know I’m over simplifying, but at least it’s an option to explore. Quote
Jormungandr Posted 33 minutes ago Report Posted 33 minutes ago I read Dons news/gossip every day and I've never heard o this McIntyre - fazzat? Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 31 minutes ago Report Posted 31 minutes ago Interesting that palaversa is on the bench over Armstrong… Quote

I just wonder if doing it from the start might mean us missing out on the chance to bring him on and do it later when others are knackered. The classic Morris issue! Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 25 minutes ago Report Posted 25 minutes ago Interesting to see if our central defenders win headers! Quote

OrlandoDon Posted 16 minutes ago Report Posted 16 minutes ago First impressions, look decent in central defense, little from afeez, Geiger likes to get on the ball. Promising? Quote
tlg1903 Posted 14 minutes ago Report Posted 14 minutes ago Decent enough start I would say. Do love that North sea kit Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 8 minutes ago Report Posted 8 minutes ago Geiger and McIntyre look decent, afeez starting to come into the game. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 2 minutes ago Report Posted 2 minutes ago Unfortunate to be one down but defense not tight enough, understandably given it’s a very new back 4pluskeeper. 1 Quote
