Ajja Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 One of the only moments of shame I’ve ever experienced as a Dons fan. still shudder when it’s mentioned by diddy clubs on P&B. Indefensible That and chucking a chair at McKenzie, not me, I didn’t chuck it, honestly. Quote

Ajja Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 (edited) Great take away. I forgot to capitalise the start of the second sentence too. Edited June 2 by Ajja 1 Quote

It's easy to miss a capital here and there, but Jack MacKenzie has previously said that he'd rather be hit by a thousand chairs, in the nuts, than have someone miss the A from his name. 4 Quote

Ajja Posted June 7 Report Posted June 7 Wasn’t sure if this was WC or Dons chat, will spare you the Venn diagram I used to work it out. Moneys paid for player’s involvement in WC. Covers last 4 years of qualification as well as tournament including NL Quote
manc_don Posted June 8 Report Posted June 8 Interesting that hearts aren’t that far off the huns proportionally speaking (from 1-2-3), nor would I have expected ‘Well to have as much as that either. Quote
swaddon Posted June 12 Report Posted June 12 Aberdeen will play Cove Rangers in a pre-season game, and Dutch cracks Twente Enschede in our training camp in the Netherlands. All that money spent on Cormack Park, and they bugger off abroad for training. 1 Quote
Slim Posted June 12 Report Posted June 12 Disappointed that FC Twente have not referred to us as "Scottish cracks" in their announcement of the fixture. Quote

You don't often hear of teams being referred to as "cracks" these days, so that's why I put it in. I'm on a one man mission to resurrect old football phrases. 2 Quote

TheDonbytheDee Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago A couple of reports going around that Tobers is injured again. No details as to what the injury is, but maybe related to his ongoing issue, but not good news, if true Just isn't meant to be for the loon. Quote

Been a while since Ah heard o' a 'midfield virtuoso' - let alone an 'inside forward' ( which is essentially an Aberdeen FC winger post Morris ). Re. Langfield .... a keeper? or a "stopper"? Sadly, the term 'sweeper' is also becoming 'auld mannies' pub chat. Quote

According to Stephen Robinson it's an infection in his knee, which he got after a minor operation on it. Had been due to play v Cove Rangers and this has set him back "four to six weeks". Shame for the lad but not sure it's quite over for him yet. Quote
Radiored Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago A knee infection? 4 tae 6 weeks? Weak kneed if ye ask me .... followin' my vasectomy reversal, I got an infection in ma fuckin balls ... but Ah was back shaggin' within days even while the pus was soakin ma punts twice a day! ... Gie the boy slap an' tell him tae harden the fuck up 1 Quote
