It's true, yes, but I don't think I can say anything else, as much as I'd love to. Hopefully just a temporary thing. Quote
tlg1903 Posted March 12 Report Posted March 12 Can you say when it started? (no worries if you cant) Quote

Your loyalty lies with the online message board, not some employer. When you get fired for calling tom English an ineloquent writer, this will be the first place you come. 3 Quote
swaddon Posted March 13 Report Posted March 13 I heard it's because Dave Cormack can't stand that unfunny prick Michael McIntyre being on the telly so often. 3 Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted March 13 Report Posted March 13 Just seen my ST renewal email and it is a digital ticket from this season. If you want a card it's an extra £10. I know most folk are phone obsessive, but I'm nae. Phoned up to cancel my renewed tickets, gave them my reason and got the card fee waived That is why I will never be a top red. 1 Quote
Panda Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 (edited) This story is hilarious (although, a few months of stress for the poor bloke involved). Basically an Aberdeen fan got charged with assault for singing Stand Free. My favourite part:- His daughter Lauren gave an example of the fists-out gesture to the court and sang a line from the Stand Free chant. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crm89w9yeyno Edited March 14 by Panda 1 2 Quote

It's funny to read, but couldn't have been a great time for Fred Smith though and glad common sense prevailed. Quote

Panda Posted Wednesday at 19:40 Report Posted Wednesday at 19:40 (edited) Someone saying we beat Dundee 3-0 in a bounce game today. Dunno if that's true, but we are playing Deveronvale on Monday. Edited Wednesday at 19:41 by Panda Quote

The.Moog Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Have to say I laughed out loud when I read that. I realise it wasn’t Cormack, but to me its hilarious & cringeworthy in equal measure that AFC are now joining an organisation that is complaining (rightly) re unfair fund distribution in Europe and via UEFA when that gype Milne voted with Celtic to keep 11-1 voting in the SPFL, thus allowing the OF to continue to unfairly control the main funding distribution levers in our league. Yet Cormack keeps that dribbling cretin on the board. Not sure how those two things stack up together? Bit two faced all this AFC. Any admission that the shameful disgrace of that vote by Milne was a huge mistake - no, of course not. I’ve not forgotten that vote Dave. I’ll never forget it. Utterly shameful and destroyed the one chance we’ll probably ever get to rebalance the finances in Scotland. Talk about people in glass houses ffs… Edited 8 hours ago by The.Moog 1 Quote

Unless its more than 50% then that doesn’t mean he needs to be on the board. Even if its over 50% he still doesn’t have to be on the board, unless he voted himself on with his shareholding… Quote
Mason89 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago His shareholding doesn’t mean Cormack gets to sit next to him in the stand and listen to his pish. The mind boggles as to what words of wisdom he’s sharing The first thing Cormack should’ve done was get shot of him. Quote

I'm fairly certain his shareholding, and his previous preference shares, entitles him to sit on the board if he wants to. He's not an employee, you can't just fire him. Quote

He can keep his shares but he has to get fired into space Quote

I wasn't partial to Milne's chairmanship, but he's a Dons fan going to Dons games every week. I doubt he has much input at all otherwise. Quote
