Dalian Atkinson. Tasered to death. For being black I assume. Sounds like something that would have happened on Brass Eye.

Gene Wilder. Brilliant comic actor. Rest in peace.

Gonna have to stick on Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstien.

For once I'm in agreement with Kow.  ;)

Genuinely saddened to hear of Gene's death. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory was the first and only thing I knew him from for most of my childhood but I think Blazing Saddles is my favourite film of his. There's nothing else quite like it.

Shame there are so many grief-merchants posting GW pics on Facebook.

Bobby Vee - 73

And Pete Burns - 57

Unfortunate quote from BBC radio

'Vee's big break came when he was asked to stand in for Buddy Holly following a plane crash'

You spin me round....

That song was forever tarnished after there was a certain email was sent around and there was that massive cock that was swung around to the song. It prevented you from closing internet explorer so had to shut the computer down.  Funny as fuck when you did it to others mind  ;D

Leonard Cohen

Another guy who knew his time was and made sure he delivered one final album before he went. Very sad news.

Leonard Cohen

I put money in his pocket. Never saw him live but bought one of his albums 25 or 30 years ago.

Couldn't listen to him now. His music got tired after a while but I recognise his genius.

I love you in a place where there's no space or time

I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine

And when my life is over

Remember when we were together

We were alone and I was singing this song for you

We were alone and I was singing this song for you

Leon Russell - Aged 74

Just love this song

Written by Leon and recorded by so so many including a favourite of mine the late great Donny Hathaway

Does Daniel Prodan count as a celebrity? I think he should. Anyway, it turns out he didn't die when at the huns, he just died today. We should have a minute's applause in the 22nd minute in memory of the £2.2M the huns spanked on him to sit on their treatment table. Although I'm surprised that anyone who spent two and a half years living in Glasgow lived until 44.
