Does this mean we have a manager who is going to his goalkeeping coach and taking advice about the goalkeeping position?
I hope so!
The first time I ever saw him was last season during the game Derek Young scored a screamer and he was pretty good. Seem his a couple of times since (mostly highlights which admittedly don't tell the whole story) and the Scotland v Faroes game and he's impressive. I'd be happy with this signing if it were to happen.

From yesterdays Sun (apparently) via BBC Gossip;
I'm assuming it's Bell rather than Combe, anyone heard anything about this?
There was an actual write up about it yesterday. No quotes but apparently McGregor will definitely be off and the Huns need a number two. We're looking to replace Clangers with him. Apparently.

Adrian Lewis.

Same game as me...
Mine was Stewart McKimmie's testimonial against Blackburn follwoed by this game too.
-
Goodwillie is heading backwards as he put on too much muscle. He's far too top heavy.
-
Apologies. Thought you hung about with Adam!?
Nah, just known him for years.

Jess was inconsistent as well but like Zero, Strachan and Bell (going back a bit here but you know the type of player I mean) were the type of players you like to pay your money to watch.
You don't expect them to be good every game or even a whole 90 minutes but you cant bin them
What Millertime is saying is can we afford to carry Hartley who maybe does not have that one moment he can turn a game like the above mentioned rest.
I'd say so when Hartley carries the team in terms of inspiration and determination.

not biting for the Zero thing, that's for another thread
What is there to bite about?
If you genuinely think Zero was a player you could rely on to put a shift in and inspire others around you then we'll leave it there and agree to disagree.
-
Zero - did fuck all for 89 minutes, would do something inspirational for one minute.
Hartley - Inspirational for 90 minutes although the legs are going.
There's the difference.

A certain banned member of DT was spotted in The Grill tonight!
Was Bobo there too???!?!?
Pardon?
-
Why are you bumping though? So some cunt gets it sorted r.e the notifications.
-
No, I sent you a PM
As we all suspected Bobo is a fucking spastic.
As you were folks.

No no Aluko came on in the pana game, after we were 3-0 down and most of the dons fans had any life left in their deflated bodies
You know I meant he started.
He got about ten minutes or so and it would have just been a run out.
-
I assume you're taking the piss but if not then no, I didn't get it.
I also have 23 pages worth of pm's. Maybe I've filled my inbox but it doesn't tell me that.

Poor bait bobo
If you think I'm fishing about Walker I'm not. At least Walker had first team experience with the players when he played against Bayern, however minimal it was.
Pittodrie's also never hostile

It's nothing to do with being cavalier, it's to do with doing a midfielder's job properly in my opinion. Neither of them have the legs to move out of their comfort zone on the park and the rest of the side will suffer as a result.
I actually think in certain games our defence would perhaps be better off without the two of them sitting on top of them. The gap between midfield and defence is non existent at times. That has to change.
You will have seen more of the team this season Bobby so I can't argue with how it's been going in your eyes as I don't really have an opinion. I've mostly seen highlights of defensive errors etc and just felt they could do with a bit more cover.
The best midfield performance I've seen this season was from Ryan Jack. I wish he hadn't had a couple of leg breaks as he'd have broken through before. He's a good lad and a good player.
-
If Jimmy had played an untested youngster (who I'm certain had no first team experience at all) on loan in a big match in a very hostile atmosphere and Aluko failed to produce he'd have been lynched.
-
I still think it's far too pedestrian. You'd then have one guy doing the forward midfield work of at least two men. We frankly don't have anyone good enough to do that justice.
I agree to an extent, the doubts being that we aren't strong enough defensively to have more of a cavalier midfield.
If we had the defence sorted I'd be a lot more open to one of the two playing.
-
Ha ha Aluko who, to the best of my knowledge hadn't played one game for us yet?
-
I don't think we can have both Hartley and Folly in midfield together, teams are ripping us to pieces in there because we have utterly no urgency. Both in their own right are good players but Hartley's legs have gone. Get a guy in there beside him (or Folly) who will go box to box and get to the opposition quickly.
Folly at different times this season has looked a class act and then totally out his depth.
I really do think it's one of two, not both.
I think there is definitely space for both if we play with a 3 man midfield, whetehr that's in a 3-5-2 or a 4-5-1 formation.
I agree in regards to a 4-4-2 formation but I can't remember the last time we tried two front men I'm afraid.

We should just go with 20 teams, call it the Scottish Premiership and keep telling everyone it's the best league in the world until somebody believes it.
