So Kenny is a bit of a cunt then?
I always thought he came across pretty decent.
-
Using the Ruy Lopez was his undoing.
+1

For some reason I'm sure he was a United player at some point?
HAHAHAHA just checked. He played for Liverpool.
-
Been like that all match. That cunt Beglin is a dope.
For some reason I'm sure he was a United player at some point?
-
I never said that you did, was just asking if you were there yesterday, nothing wrong with that, is there?
What did it have to do with my post?
-
Definite feel of pro-Liverpool eh? Deary me!
Commentator just said "the referee maybe had a case for the red card".
What?! Two feet and about a yard off the ground!
-
Were you there yesterday? He has bulked up but he is still far too lightweight, easily brushed off the ball and still pulls out of tackles from time to time.
What does being there yesterday have to do with anything?
I didn't say "after yesterdays game".

Gerrard is an idiot. One foot and he'd have got a yellow at worst.
-
I thought he had an attitude problem when he was younger but seeing him now knocking his pan in chasing the ball along the opposition backline, the way he reacted to Scotland getting knocked out by Iceland and seeing that he's put on a bit of beef clearly realising that he was getting outmuscled too easily show me that's in the past. IMO.

Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson: "I didn't expect Kenny to resurface. But Liverpool see it as the way ahead and... well, it's their club. It's always going to be a tough game, derby game, no introduction needed and everyone knows what it means. We'll try to play as we always do. Rooney and Vidic didn't quite make it, there's no point risking Wayne and it's too early for Nemanja. It's the biggest rivalry and will always be so."
-
Duh, so he is.
By premiership standards that would be considered a bargain!
Might be because he's thiry but Konchesky is only a year younger. And shite.
Bobby, what's they story with Fergie and Kenny?
-
Who? I thought they were having bother establishing someone at RB?
Konchesky's a left back?
Salcido the Mexican guy. Was brilliant whenever I saw him at PSV although he can also play right back and often plays there for Mexico. I checked just now and it seems the got him for £1.6million. Didn't think it was that cheap!
-
Can only pish wi the cock you've got!
Hodgson wasn't given the same kinda money other Liverpool managers have had.
Hodgson has a record, check it on Wikipedia!
Ha ha.
Did Fulham spend anymore money on Konchesky's replacement, who is a much better player than him?
-
-
It is a transition for Liverpool now, given they have only Hodgson's dross!
When you sign players like Konchesky and go with N'gog as your second striker you deserve everything you get.
-
Fine, do not ever complain or moan or find the need to slag off an opponent who does then.
Of course I'm going to complain, I'm a football fan!
-
If they were even to go down under Kenny they wouldn't blame him. It'd be the 'Hodgson effect'.
-
I'd be disgusted so don't try and tell me what my morals are or aren't.
That pretty much sums up the absolute cuntery in football nowadays "we'd have cheated too" is a legitimate response is it?
Fuck sake, why fucking bother then, really, why?
I seriously doubt any Aberdeen fan would be annoyed if one of our players dived to win a cup or knocked the ball in with his hand. If the day comes we'll find out.
-
The one that gets me is Suarez against Ghana. People called him a cheat, but yet he didn't cheat at all. He did something, was properly punished for it and Gyan missed the resultant penalty. In what way, shape or form can you call that cheating. In that respect, any challenge which results in a free-kick is cheating, any deliberate handball is cheating and so.
Then the next aspect of cheating is if you do something, intentionally or not which gains you an advantage and the referees don't notice it, which breaks the rules. Henry's is an example. He broke a rule, but got away with it. Is he meant to then inform the referee of this. I think it would be silly to suggest that.
To me cheating is when you try to gain an advantage by carrying out an action to try and con the referee. A dive, whenever, is cheating. Some of your other suggestions would be cheating Bobo, though the free-kick one is up to the referee to decide where it is taken from. Not every player can no exactly where the foul occurred.
Yeah the Suarez one was hilarious on the hat. Purely down to the fact it was the last kick of the ball they wanted an extended suspension.
TF the Leeds players told Walcott they'd have done the same.
Also if Maguire was clean through, last minute in the cup against the Huns and dived and we scored a penalty to win I'd doubt you'd be giving a fuck about morals.
-
I think I'd be the same tbf, but I'm no sure I'm comfortable having such flexible morality
A win is a win in my book ha ha!
I've had this argument on the hat with LS when Henry handled the ball against Ireland. He said no cheating should be allowed in football. He didn't seem to understand that taking a free kick ten yards forward from where it is is cheating. Claiming for a throw when you know fine well the ball touched you last etc.
I don't like it but will accept it if we get anywhere with it.
-
Not sure why the new left back didn't get a run out, or place on the bench (unless i missed his name on the sheet?). If he's fit and isn't coming on as a sub at 4 or 5 up against east fife, then what's he here for?
I'll assume you're not fishing so I'll answer.
Capaldi is honouring the last few games with Morecambe he has left. Anderson may not play this season. Brown is more giving him a six month trial.
-
sure but it's spurious of him to suggest he's not a cheat if all he means is, I only cheat when it really matters.
bit of a tangent but interviewers are so in awe of football players they never pull them up for the hypocritical bullshit they say. No wonder the players act like they're above everyone else.
I understand what he's saying.
It's the same as me saying I hate divers but if we had an opportunity in the box in the last minute while losing or drawing I hope our played would go down. We score, I'm happy then I'll condemn him afterwards!
