Big big risk taking Anderson back to the club,he can feel priveliged and fortunate enough to manage to get back to the club he turned his back on to go and try "bigger and better" things!!! Don't get me wrong,I loved him when he was captain of Dons before but what other club in this day and age would have taken the risk on a player now prone to injury and has problems with fitness at his age?? Not many I would have thought. I'm hoping I'm proved wrong but don't know. He could've been a legend with cult status now if he had never left Dons in the first place!!

Booth was a great player,absolute quality, and he speaks a helluva lot of sense in his article.He calls it how it is and is a Dons fan through and through like the rest of us.It is hurting him aswel just like the rest of us too. But if Killie etc can do it then so can we. We have to believe,2 games(only 2 games!!) away from bedlam and making Aberdeen go berserk again.It's what the city needs,the spin off's would be immense and it would give everyone a massive lift. It's going to happen again someday,I firmly believe that so why not Saturday 19th May again?? C'mon u REDS!!!

Here here I totaly agree wi u,Jack and Considine are a prime example of what our youth policy should be doing.I was just making a statement about how I felt about Andy Considine and how far he had come,wisna ruling oot Jack or anything(he's quality ana for sure!!),Just like the way Considine has played wi steel and passion for the jersey all season and thats wi added responsibility by getting the captains armband on him and he seems to have thrived on it.Yes,he's still got more to learn but he's a vastly improved player and theres more to come from him most definitely.I was complimenting him on pledging his future to Dons when others seem to be hell bent on leaving thinking they are bettering themselves,the grass isn't always greener thats for sure. Maybe Considine and co have some good mentors telling them the right things in there ears,probably his parents for a start and thats the best agents he could have.But it's the matureness of the man and the player to sit up and listen to whatever's being said to him acknowledging that the grass isn't always greener and that money isn't the be all and end all!!Happinness,stability,security and quality of life come before that but they are easy to overlook. I take my hat off as a Dons fan to Andy Considine,he's been quality all season.Maybe Russell Anderson should have to work and sweat buckets to merit taking the armband from Considine I reckon??If we win the Scottish Cup this season I would like Andrew Considine to walk up to lift that famous trophy as he deserves to.

No one player should be bigger than the club or hold us to ransom. Would still love him to stay though as we need players like him to make progress thats for sure. He's got one helluva thunderbolt of a shot on him and from distance ana which is quality.Nae a bad throw in taker ana,up there wi David Robertson almost!!

Fair play and cheers mini59dons and glad ur able to take my offer of an apology and I will accept urs ana,I'm thick skinned and broad shouldered but I'm a decent guy at the end of the day.I just love AFC no matter what,win,lose or draw I'll be there cheering them on til the day I die nae matter what.I jist want to see them winning something again thats all,I think theres an element of frustration with all Dons fans as it's been far far too long noo!! Maybe this can be the year for Scottish Cup glory,think i would hae a tear in my eye if that happened mate along wi a lot of Dons fans!!We have got to believe or theres nae point!! Aye,ur story just shows how all fitba fans see it differently all the time for sure. I only want players at AFC that want to play for that famous red jersey.Surely as an individual you either know that or you don't.But yip sadly good old money has spoilt the game and sport in general. Good old Andrew Considine is a great example though of sacrificing money for loyalty and happiness at a club.He's a class act and is by far one of the most improved players at the club.He pulls on that red jersey with pride and would run through a brick wall for AFC.He has been a fantastic player for the club this year and certainly deserves his player of the year awards hands down. Give me 11 Considine type players with full-on DESIRE any day!!

Just to say "sorry" for causing offence to "any" Dons fans out there,I'm man enough to take this one on the chin to a certain degree regarding some of my comments. I subtract my comment regarding "real" dons fans and shouldna have said that as its discriminating against any Dons fan to be specific like that.The way I look at it,all Dons are "real" fans by choosing to support the club in the first place!!As for Mackie,well no I dinna think hes the best player but looking at it I was way over the top by saying he was the worst "ever" Don to pull on the red jersey as like others have said there have been others that have been worse than him right enough. Maybe I was having a bad day and now I've had time to reflect on my comments and maybe they were over the top.He's jist nae my favourite player at all!!All fans have a player they are nae too hot on I reckon. In relation to your reply Kowalski,no I'm nae saying Mackie cost us 3 goals,I know it's a team game and "most" of the team are responsible for the shambles recently!! Hi All. What a shambles we r yet again after yesterdays result.This is becoming unacceptable from any Aberdeen team to play like this,no DESIRE to play 4 the jersey and nobody to take the game by the scruff of the neck and put their mark on the game. As for the broken record from Craig Brown after the game,that is wearing very thin by most Dons fans.Quotes like"3 nil flatters Hearts" and "our goalie hasn't had a save to make the whole game".Someone tell him that your goalkeeper doesn't need to make a save for the opposition still to put it in the onion bag 3 times or more!!It's always sob stories and turning points in games that were crucial in his opinion.Nothing ever to do with we are simply not good enough or creative enough.Team selection week in week out is seriously questionable aswel.And certain players are not given a chance to prove themselves either. I was at ICT game last week and that performance was so inept it was a disgrace to the club.This 3 nil defeat yesterday was in no way a surprise to me after last week.Theres serious problems at Pittodrie even if we did go on a 13 game unbeaten run(hard to imagine how we managed that to be honest!!). What do these guys do week in week out on the training pitch because it's clear to see that most teams we play bully us on the park and boss and dictate games most of the time.Lets stop giving some of our so called "big name" players accloades before they deserve to have them as it clearly goes to there heads and they start getting cocky and swaggering about Pittodrie like they think they are bigger than!!!The mighty team of 83 didn't even do that but they would've been excused from doing so if they did because they were real professionals!! Breaks my heart to see Dons losing ANY game but I've got to call it how it is and I'm not alone in doing so.Where I was last Saturday there were a lot of disgruntled fans out there,folk that have been going to Pittodrie all there lives and now are getting severely cheesed off with things.The entertainment value is non-existant!! I'm in no way a pessimist either but we have no chance of getting to a final of a cup playing like this dross either.
