  1. Still absolutely gutted about the result. But we played really well and deserved the win. Just wasn't to be I guess. They lads have to take confidence from their performance though, was the best domestically for a long time (hibs?). We can goto the potato dome and do it. I just wish I was going Referee didn't have a bad game but typical fucking celtic...
  2. I was saying to Sneckie yesterday, I thought he was pretty poor and I was disappointed. However, that goal was great and he was doubling up on potato traitor so I will forgive him. I just wish his dead ball situations were better.
  3. I thought Maybury did really well yesterday and was saying it to someone the other day, we need him signed up asap. Might have been a celtic fan actually. But still. Get on it AFC!
  4. I hope he does the little traitor. But we all know its not going to happen and we'll probably concede a standard OF penalty
  5. I totally agree. But I think we all know what he is and so our defenders should not allow him to be in a situation to take advantage like that.
  6. After watching the highlights I thought the penalty was a bit soft but it was our own fault for going into him like that when he was going away from goal. Can't comment on the rest of his performance as i wasn't there.
  7. Waste of a pre season. As much as I enjoy seeing the dons at home in Holland, it could be so much more constructive. I still think we should enter, if we can, for the inter-toto.
  8. Have the horrible feeling we're gonna just miss out. However, if they get their act together, we'll finish 5th overall I think.
  9. I'd be up for that! Good on the younguns. The sooner Maguire is punted out on loan the better. Toughen him up a bit. It just frustrates me he gets in our first team when its obvious he needs some further development to even see if he can fulfill any potential.
  10. Good sportsmanship if I take off my red spectacles off. However, it annoys me as Boyd always scores against us. But I expect nothing less to be honest.
  11. That bit amuses me, but I suppose they would say that since he attempted to end big barry's career...
  12. Seve has been shite for more than just this season, last season he was horrendous bar 3 or 4 games. He's lost a yard of pace and keeps trying to ping passes that do not happen for him anymore. It frustrates me greatly because he had the opportunity to be a legend at our club but consistently shows us that he doesn't give a rats arse.
  13. At least I can say I was excited listening to us. It sounded like an end to end game but obviously the end result was never in any doubt. We played well, paid the price for not taking our chances (where've we said that before). As Funster said, we are a first half team and its something that needs to be sorted out! And fast. We actually have 4 cup finals in a row (after most probably losing to celtic in the cup). We need to take the positives out of this game, even sounds like JDV played well and stick with the same team. Only worry was that Lovell and someone else took knockes today and are doubts for next week. According to Jimmy anyway.
  14. I totally agree with you, but I suppose we just have to hope, that the club have someone else in mind. I mean we all probably are guessing they don't and then you'll get a quote from Maguire saying he is more than able and willing to fill the big shoes left by Big barry...
  15. They didn't say anything about with the ball, thats true
  16. P & J stating Mackie is the key to our success at Ibrox tomorrow due to his pace. Even with his pace, he never takes his chances and he probably won't even get the service as we'll defend and hoof the ball up at every opportunity once we concede the first goal. I admire AFC for standing by their player, but bloody hell. As has been mentioned already, his stats are quite frankly, pathetic. We need a team performance tomorrow and nothing less than a miracle to gain anything. Come on you reds!
  17. Looks like he may get his move down south! http://www.thisisnorthscotland.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=149212&command=displayContent&sourceNode=246582&home=yes&contentPK=20020193
  18. Say, if that did happen, and you were the board, what would you do? Because that really would be unacceptable.
  19. I think the point I was trying to make, for a person who usually has no opinion on Scottish football, to make such an accurate assesment is quite odd, and highlights our situation. As I said, I fully agree with every word he's written.
  20. I thought that was usually my job!
  21. I totally agree with every word he says. Its nice to see someone in the media actually seeing the real side of things. Yes he may have no interest in scottish football thus his opinions may hold no credence, but the fact he see's this speaks volumes.
  22. Away with your negativity! Things HAVE to improve. That is the bottom line. As I've said before, I think we'll lose to the huns, probably to Caley and struggle, but win against Gretna. March will be much better! Please!
  23. You'd have thought they'd have learnt this. They've boo'd him for years and its done nothing. Only ever produces form when a contract is up for renewal anyway. It achieves nothing and probably exacerbates the situation.
