  1. Jesus, that's depressing
  2. Sakes, what happened to trying to break the stereotype of not being able to do more than one thing, Jute?!?
  3. The return of Jute? hearts’ forms hasn’t been great, but secured a victory on the weekend, whereas we’ve still be middling. Need our midfield to be on form with scrappy do (devlin) back to form for them. Be interesting to see how Goodwin starts to try and make us harder to beat. Need Bates to find some sort of form again. out breakfast wfh wfh 2-1 hearts, Ferguson
  4. Only section available apparently, that’s pretty good going.

    War

So what are everyone's thoughts on how likely actual breakout of war in Eastern Europe is? Is this going to be the next flash point to create a regional war or will the West (and the rest) let Putin take Ukraine apart, bit by bit? Plenty of reasons why Putin is doing it, and he's never made any secret of wanting to bring back the USSR. Feel awful for the Ukrainians, they deserve their own country and are being used as a pawn by two former super powers. Hard to see it going to anything but conflict, Putin's ego wouldn't allow it. He's come too far now. Guess the next question would be, where / how does it stop?
  6. I see you're making a comeback Jute (not for this one)
  7. No complaints here, happy to see him stay on for longer.
  8. Very impressed to read be went straight into the dugout. Good on him, precisely the dedication I want to see from a manager. Will have to try dig out the sport sound podcast and give that a listen, Al. A few folk have said he speaks very well.
  9. That’s my perspective too. I’d like to hope he can fulfil a role at the club (sorry jute).
  10. Another away game (yay). Hoping that another week under the tutelage of Robson and co, they have a better understanding of what they want from them. Well aren't better than us (on paper) but we really need to stop that prick van Veen scoring against us. Has he scored against anyone else? Their form is equally as shite as ours, however they will be buoyed by their win in the cup. Out Bed Bed Bed 1-1, Ramirez
  11. Wehey, we didn't lose.
  12. Sounds like we're putting up a decent response after that horrific start.
  13. Is Ramsay a good full back though? I don't actually think he is. In fact, he's awful at defending and decent going forward. Regardless, I agree, I hope we see some of the other youth getting a shot. Certainly Robson will know better than most of what they might be capable of.
  14. Fuck knows how this is going to go. No manager, Simmie and Robson in charge and players confidence / trust completely shot. Their results in feb have been all over the shop, whereas we've just been shite but we are better at home. Don't think i'll be bothering with it tbh, work is more appealing. Out Breakfast Work Work 1-1, Ramirez
  15. Merged
  16. And I thought I was being pessimistic on my prediction
  17. Sakes, 2-1 them was actually my first thought and I changed it to try and be optimistic. It's getting harder and harder to get up for these games. Season well and truly over. Fully expect us to go into a relegation battle. Out of interest, why did Ferguson go up into the stands? Shite start to the sunday, crazy winds here in WLG due to offshoot winds from a cyclone. Only positive is that it hopefully washes the those around parliament away.
  18. Huge game this weekend. If we can put in a shift like the second half, ideally not being 2-0 down before playing, then we’ve got a chance. Naturally being away goes against us, but surely our away form has to change at some point? out bed bed bed 2-1 Dons, Ferguson and besuijen
  19. Meeting coincided with the second half so missed it, but didn't expect to read what I have done. Suppose the result is as predicted, but good to read we'd got back into it. My tuppence worth on their first two goals. Woods, WTF (should have got that) and second, well that was just unlucky. Well apparently rested players tonight? So we'll be in for a game on Saturday.
  20. Telling that the thread is so quiet, think we’re all fearing the worst. Undecided if I’ll bother as I’ve got a meeting in the middle of it to add to the joy, the rumour going round is that Lewis has covid and woods is injured…

    Coronavirus

So was it Delta rather than Omicron you had then ? A mate of mine had the former in start of November still has reduced lung capacity. Hope you recovery quickly.

    Coronavirus

We finally had confirmation (subject to Covid playing ball) that our borders will be loosening at the end of the month. With folk from the rest of the world starting to come at some point before July. Personally, I think it is a bit slow and not quite sure why aussies aren't allowed back as the same time as kiwis that live in aussie, but there we go. Probably due to Scomo's conservative policies. We've had some pathetic attempts at a convoy of "trucks" copying the losers in Canadia over the last few days. hilarious as most of them didn't even have any trucks in them. Just a bunch of jumped up anti vax / anti govt / racist arseholes cruising in their utes around the country, culminating in them arriving in Wellington and terrorising the people in the city. A few folk were running across motorways yesterday, they really are the bottom feeders of society. They're now outside parliament threatening to lynch politicians...coincidence that a company called counterspin with links to the fat racist fuck Bannon was set up recently in NZ? Don't think so. We've seen a rise in yank style "politics" here, and a huge number of trump, confederate and american flags at these idiot marches. If only we did live in the authoritarian state they claim to, they'd all be gone Anyway, anti vaxxers here are in the huge minority, uptake of the booster has been huge and our numbers are very good. Weirdly it may help us by being a bit slower on our actual roll out (looking at Israel)
