Nothing like the Millennium trilogy other than being set in a Scandinavian country - found the characters and plot hard to follow at times Gonna reread Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows again now - just in time for the film

I saw Eat Pray Love on Monday for my birthday - it was very good but I think you would have had to read the book to get the most out of it and it is very girlie

It's a true story about female factory workers who go on strike for the right to be paid as skilled workers and turns into the fight to get equal pay I was moved - it felt like watching a bunch of suffragettes in the 60s - women died to get the vote you know Manc - you should go watch the film - there were quite a few blokes in the audience and everyone was clapping at the end

Made in Dagenham is very good - Sally Hawkins is excellent as Rita O'Grady

I have never been a fan of McGhee as our manager and have absolutely no faith in him to take the club forward That said I reckon it would completely unfair on a new manager to take over now with the squad that we have - he would be on a hiding to nothing from the word go So dunno what the solution is - slip McGhee his P45 in his stocking at Christmas maybe and allow someone else a chance to realign the squad in the transfer window
