I'm sitting on the fence. The home games v Bayern and Copenhagen were good. The trip to Munich was great even if the result was shite. The semi finals need no words. My seaosn ticket renewal depends on our last game v Rangers.

Jimmy has apparently stated that our season is over. It's not. As a club that has this rivalry with Rangers it would be a success story of our season if we stopped them from winning the league. Our manager is a hun but will he do anything other than try to win the game? If he does I will not renew my season ticket. Thankfully I can't see it happening. I hope. Agreed. He excelled for us under JC and has been underrated for a long time because he didnt play for the gruesome twosome. There's eejits on the PA forum saying he shouldn't be a first choice center back for them but I think he has the quality to be first choice for Sunderland in the premiership.

The Duff chances you mention really pissed me off. He obviously doesn't have a left foot but he had plenty time and was in a great position and I thought he should have tried to cross rather than shoot. (Maybe that's what he did?) But either way he buggered two really good potential chances. I dont think he played well. Maybe he made less fuck-ups making it look like he did OK. I think he's mince and he can GTF.
