  1. Aye but we are the famous Aberdeen! We get what we ask for.
  2. Howard's been suspect to be honest. The blame for the Killie goal is as much his as it is the rest of the defence's. He's gotten away with it so far because the teams we've played have been uttery woeful. Having said that Langfield was utter balls too as far as I've seen. (Which admittedly was only one match and it was a friendly)
  3. Still don't know what that's meant to symbolise.
  4. Makes me wonder why Holland didn't bother trying to play football rather than kick the fuck out of them.

His second serve is horrendous but that's an entirely mental issue. I think you're right though. When he serves well he wins. I'm not sure how fair a comparasin to Rafa Nadal is. Nadal is from a Tennis rich enviroment where it's much easier to get into it and get good coaching whithout having to travel far and wide to get it. He's also an exceptional talent and far more naturally athletic.

I don't know if you're missing my point intentionally or just thick? Going by that grammar it may be the latter. I'm not saying he's not been given opportunities. Personally I think I'd find moving abroad very difficult for various reasons. Culture shock (maybe not so much in Spain) and language barrier being just a couple. Moving away on your own (none of his family moved with him) at such a young age to me shows great strength of character already. I would concede that there's certainly room for improvement and that he needs to do just that before he can go up the level required for grand slam success.

Just because Scottish and being a good Tennis players is a huge achievement.

Agree completely. I'm not saying his mentality is necessarily spot on or anything but to come from where he did to become the top class Tennis player that he undoubtedly is is an immense achievement and in my opinion goes to show that he must already be mentally tough. I don't think he's far away from winning a grand slam. Scotland is about as far from an ideal place to nurture a promising Tennis career as you’re likely to find in a so called civilised country. Hence he had to fuck off to Spain to attend a decent Tennis school. He's already overcome massive odds and I think he will again.
  9. It should be dependant on his appearances for us - not his country.
  10. There must be some less retarded options, though? They don't call Foster "Google" for nothing.
  11. It's beyond comprehension. :hammer:
  12. This. Agree completely. I will personally welcome Foster back if he can still produce the goods. Some of us need to grow up I think! I hate the huns as much as the next Dandy but Ricky's probably had next to no choice in the matter. He's a Dandy but he's maybe been convinced that he's doing the club long term good to fuck off for a season? I will still politely say hello next time I see him shopping in Asda wi his Ma... I mean Maw.
  13. I think Rangers will break their Pittodrie duck against us.
  14. Mine didn't even get checked?

  16. FFS sake Jimmy!
  17. Well that's a weight off of my mind!
  18. Was it a mistake from Howard then? The scary thing is before the match I predicted (in a tongue in cheek kind of way) that we'd get beat 1-0 as a result of a goalkeeping blunder and that Langfield would be back next week.
  19. I expected us to beat Killie. FFS sake.
