  1. Is he aware that he's a raging alcoholic?
  2. Well the McFadden rumours are still everywhere so you never know.
  3. Haven't Dundee along with Airdrie said they'll abstain due to conflict of interest?
  4. Surprised to see such a negative post in response to this tbh be honest. Sarcastic I expected but not negative. I know the OP was vague but at no point did he suggest spending money that we don't have. I know CB has been in the papers saying there's room in the budget for another star signing so I don't think we need to worry about being liquidated. My mate who works at the airport saw Nicholas Bendtner fly into Aberdeen. Oh wait that was last season.
  5. How do they have a choice? Because the OldCo hasn't formally been liquidated yet?
  6. Exactly what the prick wants. Delays. :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: :hammer:
  7. So it costs them money to have the Huns in their league but it costs us money not to have them in our league? Ladies and gentlemen, once again: my good friend Jackie Chan:
  8. So if Newco doesn't get promoted straight away a club (St. Mirren) with no debts will immediately go to the wall? What if they don't get promoted?

    Andy Murray

Overlooking the large amount of utter fucking nonsense in this thread for the time being at least I can confirm that despite having almost £60 on Federer it didn't help cushion the blow one bit I have stuck a wee score on 6/1 for the US Open. I didn't catch anything that happened after the match winning point but I gather Murray said he was getting closer which is right and with Rafa's knee(s) in bad shape why can't he reach more finals? Valiant effort but you cannot miss (seemingly the vast majority) of your first serves in a slam final especially when your second serve is so poor. If Murray had gotten his first serves in like he did towards the end against Ferrer then it would have been much closer. What also didn't help was that Murray didn't get a single challenge correct the whole match and Federer only got 1 wrong.

Any predictions for tomorrow? All the pundits are going for Murray as you'd probably expect. All I want is for Murray to give a good account of himself. I'd like to see him win a set to get that never won a set in a grand slam final monkey off his back. But my head says Federer in 4. I think Murray can match his game but Fed's experience will see him through.

Watching that match on Sunday is going to be anything but nice. It's either going to be heartbreak or nerve shredding as fuck!

  13. They're not even trying to hide the fact that they have zero intention of not repaying non-football debts such as tax.

What's interesting is seeing all the dos (English) cunts on the BBC page backing Tsonga and Federer to reach the final. Not one of them is backing Djokovic. I think Djokovic will be the one awaiting either Andy or Jo in the final.
  15. Aye. And that's actually the colour gold and nae just yellow being called gold.

Not sure how many people speaking honestly could back Tsonga. Murray is the better player. Personally I think he'll keep the heid 'till at least the final.
  17. Rangers have only sold 250 season tickets? I thought they didn't do walking away?
  18. I completely agree. That's why I said that other SPL clubs don't deserve to be boycotted. Or are you referring to Killie? Most of us boycott Killie because it's too far away! As I said I don't think I could attend games at Pittodrie and boycott other grounds. Firstly because I enjoy away games usually and also because as I said and as (i think) you alluded to they need our support. Together we can help strengthen the league. AFC have the 3rd biggest travelling support so we can make a difference.
  19. Believe me I've thought about it long and hard. (Quiet at the back, there!) Apart from Kilmarnock all the other clubs have voted correctly so I don't think they deserve to be boycotted. If anything we need to support them too but paying ourselves into their ground. At the end of the day they're still "competing" in a corrupt organisation. It has to be said though I think I will get a season ticket. And I'm definitely going to sell-out Saturday!
  20. Hahahah GD, I was going to post up something very similar! Beat me to it though! I spotted the resemblance!
  21. Although (and I can't believe I'm about to say this) I'm pleased with AFC's conduct over the last month including their signings ( ) I'm still going to find it hard to cough up money for a season ticket knowing that my team are playing in one of the most fundamentally corrupt organisations in world football. Fuck the TV money.
