At the moment I am reading The Greatest Battle: The Fight for Moscow 1941-42 by andrew nagorski. Good read so far aboot a battle thats not been covered in much depth before that I have seen. Also finished Heart Of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Good book.

I don't mean to play them just now. I mean playing them from next season. There is no point in binning Seve just now at this stage of the season.

Riordan? Are you sure he is out of contract. Seems strange that you would sign a player and only give him a one year deal when money was exchanged for his signature. Robbie Neilson would be a good signing but out of our price range I would think.

Revolting as in an uprising or revolting as in disgusting? I see what you are saying but as I say I don't rate Seve in that position anyway so do not see the problem. If we never give any of our youngsters a chance due to the fear of them having the odd bad mistake what is the point in a youth system? To give peterhead players?

If I am being honest I think that we shall finish 5th. Altough our defensive record is good we still conceed too many silly/soft goals (the second against dundee utd for example) and diamond will be a big loss. Also our record against the teams that are in the top six with us is poor to say the least. I may be wrong but is it not only celtic that we have beaten out of all of them this season? In addition to this our inability to score has been pronounced this season. All of this leads me to belive that we will struggle to get fourth.

Yes I would. As I have said I believe seve to be, at best, an average centre half so do not think he is a long term option in that position anyway. Although blooding a youngster would bring about the inevitable mistakes I would be willing to accept these for what would hopefully be a long term gain of a good youngster coming through and either staying with us or being sold for some money.

I am unhappy with the proposed site for the new stadium from a purely selfish point of view. Due to travelling from the north I would be required to go through the city centre and this would pose a massive headache for me. The congestion would be horrific and would make travelling to games a real hassle. With the current state of my finances and the football on offer this would seriously make me think twice about going to games. Of course if the proposed bypass ever goes ahead and a road to loirston loch was provided then this would solve many problems. It would also mean no sitting in traffic for an hour waiting to get out of Aberdeen as I currentley do. As for the pub situation I am sure that this will be sorted as some enterprising young person will build one out there to cater for the many fans.

In my opinion Severin has been almost a passenger for two seasons. He has lost his pace to a dramatic degree and does not have the ability to spray 40 yard passes to make up for this deficincey. He is, at best, a very average centre half with no height. I would prefer we got rid and maybe tried to blood a youngster in this position. I realise that this would leave us short of experiance but feel this is a sacrifice worth making to save what would be a large amount off the wage bill. This could then be used to bring in a player with experiance and ability rather than just experiance.

Hello I'm DerBomber. Nae idea why I picked that name but I did. I work affshore and stay oot in i shire. My thoughts on fitba are long but nae very varied. If I can find a negative for some reason I tend to find it and focus on it. I believe that Mr Calderwood should now leave the dons. I would thank him for the stability he has brought to the club but would punch him for Queens Park, Queen of the South and Dunfermline results. Also would be punched for his baffling tactical decisions and strange substitutes. I would say that I have no favourite player out of the current lot however I have an irational disdain for Darren MAckie and a growing sense of despair over Scott Severin still being captain and being picked for the team. As for me I have a poor sense of grammer and spelling. I like vodka and becks. As for cheese I am no big fan but do enjoy a cheese toastie made with mature cheddar now and again.
