  1. To be fair, Wigan is the closest whilst still being able to get tickets. Although if I was going to pick a fixture in the north, i'd have gone for Sunderland - Fulham.

Aye, if you're determined to see a game in the money-bloated Premiership, to see such superstars as Gary Caldwell, Conor Sammon, Jason Roberts and Yakubu.

  5. What is it about Aberdeen fans that they feel the need to berate great servants of the club... especially if they are local lads.... I'll never understand it.

    Oh do GTF.

Mackie has never been a 'great servant' for AFC, he has simply tried hard (which should be a given) and ran fast in the past, with one or two important goals dotted around.

Both those attributes are gone, given Saturday's showing.

    Get him to fuck.

  6. SECONDS before Steven Naismith's right knee had folded leaving him in agony on the Pittodrie turf one man had already turned his head away.

For a moment Ian Durrant had been transported almost exactly 24 years back in time.

October 8, 1988 is a date etched deeply on the Ibrox coach's mind as it's the day own right knee was damaged and when he saw Naismith collapse, he saw himself.

Immediately he feared worst for the attacker had been having a season remember.

That was until Saturday. When hen Naismith's joint gave way just minutes into Rangers' match Aberdeen instinct told Durrant right away. This was serious. He didn't need to hear it Rangers' medics. He just knew.

How was this allowed to be published in a national newspaper - it's fucking illegible. Horrendous stuff.

  7. Kind of agree to a certain extent.  My feelings are that the article could have been written after any OF game and it's only a collective licking of the Red Army wounds.

Skip forward a few months and we'll be witnessing another halfbaked sending off of a red whilst an OF player gets awarded a penalty at the other end for assaulting one of our players.

    The game's a bogey.

    Exactly.

I commented to my mate that there was no shame in losing that game on Saturday, we quite simply could not win it, given the blatant bias of the referee.

  8. Couple I saw this morning...

    RiPeace

Funeral planning? There's an app for that.

I hear Steve Jobs was at death's door, life ready to pass before his eyes - unfortunately he needed to upgrade his flash player to view it.

  9.

It's nice to hear from an old friend in our time of need.  Thanks for the memories Jimmy, maybe we'll see you in another life.

FFS, surely it's getting a bit old now. The media seem to wheel out JC for the same fucking interview every time we are struggling.

"I love the club, the city etc"

    "I don't know why I was sacked"

    "Top six every season"
