  1. I'm going to be selfish and hope that it isn't on. That means i'll be able to make it  Also, since I'll be missing the final, should we make it, i'm more determined to get there.

Also, great news that Robson has moved. Just a shame he didn't move down south really. Fool.

He might stand a better chance of staying in and around the Scotland squad if he remains in the SPL, rather than playing League One/Championship...

  2. whilst i sympathise with most of what you're saying, I can't agree on 'missing out' on John Collins. He's got much bigger things in his head than coming north, he's looking at the premiership i would imagine. Besides, if he's not happy with Hibs' backing, then what is he going to say to Milne's budget of a few old buttons to play with...

  3. I think since it is going to be played on Valentine's Day the club should have a poetry competition with the winner being awarded 2 tickets for the match and they should give out red and white heart ballons on the night

or perhaps they could tune into the spirit of the day, and mutter to themselves all day about how it's a stupid, made-up day, before panicking at the last minute, and sending an office employee to the nearest garage for 20,000 bunches of half-dead flowers and some over-priced chocolate.

  4. There is that of course.

You seem to be championing him pretty hard and hell bent that he's magic.  Have you seen the lad play down south or something?

don't forget Aluko is going to get his big move as soon as he leaves Aberdeen, as he's a future Engurlund international. He's gonna be a superstar baby!

    ...

    according to LondonS

  5. Personally know 2 people who got stuffed nicked, but heard of so many. A bit like Kowalski, I had a good time but do feel a bit let down. As much as I love Aberdeen if I'm to go abroad again I'd be a bit more careful about where we were going, or at least try and stay away from potential trouble like that. I know 6000 tourists was just a great attraction for your dodgy Spaniards but really really shit as now I have a very poor opinion of the Spanish, and Madrid.

(My flights were fine btw. ;) )

    what's that NicNac?  ;)

  6. The UEFA Cup is returning to Vicente Calderon Stadium with the visit of Scottish side Aberdeen in the third week of the gr0up stage of this competition. Atletico de Madrid, which drew 3-3 in the first round in Moscow against Locomotiv and had a bye in the second week, now needs to earn the three points to take a firm step towards qualifying for the next stage.

Club Atletico de Madrid has already put tickets on sale which are available for this match. It should be noted that Aberdeen fans will have four ticket offices available to them from which to purchase their corresponding tickets. These will go on sale on Wednesday 28 November, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, and on match day from 11:00 until kick-off at the stadium ticket offices at Vicente Calderon.
