I dont get this performed better under Leighton nonsense. Langfield was dropped for Kevin Souter under leightons stewardship - surely it does not get any worse than that. I am not doubting Leightons abilitys as a coach - what i am doubting is the fact that it has any change to Langfields on pitch performances. He's up there with David Preece and Nicky Walker for sure. No amount of coaching is going to make this guy any better, One wonders why we would make a reserve keeper number one anyhow - considering Esson doing well for himself up the road feel quite hard done by to have this clown as our number one. Dude - The standard of goalkeeping since Kjaer left us has been rank awful! Its been a good 5 or 6 years since we had a solid keeper in the sticks! There has been no decline since leighton left, but things certainly didnt change for the better or for worse. Langfield has been murder ever since he came to the club - two goal keeping coaches havnt been able to change that.

Spent my younger years in life at pittodrie watching jim leighton shank kicks and flap at crosses and have watched Langfield do the same over the passed sobbingly bad 5 years. Would Agree with most of that, Although if we are binning strikers surely best to bin the ones that arnt scoring? However Folly has been our best player from what i have seen this season and Mccardle is still a decent player. Would add aluko to that list And Magurie if he doesnt pull his socks up and start grafting.
