Went to see Stirling Albion play Queen's Park. Stirling were awful, New Rangers must be really bad to lose to a team like that.

Enjoyed the first two episodes of the new series of The Killing. Thought the first was brilliant, second was good but not quite on the same level, so far III seems up there with the first.

Good result, not the best performance I've seen this season but not going to complain about that, great to see so many goals. Maggenis impressed me today and Hayes was excellent.
St Mirren fans seem to really hate Fraser for some reason.
-
Tickets on the gate (well not at the gate as apparently St Mirren don't do that, but at the ground) available for this yes?

I heard him on Talksport the Friday before the United game talking about how he would refuse to wear the Scottish equivalent of the 'Kick It Out' t-shirts (Show Racism the Red Card?)
It was interesting to see he wasn't training and therefore his 'moment' had been taken away from him. I wondered at the time if that was a deliberate move to punish him for his comments during the International Break to remove his chance to make some sort of statement, but it seems like he has been dropped completely anyway.

It felt like it got worse when our performances got worse under McGhee, sadly now that the performances are getting better and results are improving the atmosphere hasn't caught up.
-
What was it originally?

Means they can't sign Skacel though.
Also, i've anybodys into paranoia, United Chairman, illegitimate father and all round ballbag Steven Thomson was on the 3 arsehole committee which decided the punishment of no transfers until the 23rd December.
Hearts play United on the 22nd December.
(these dates may be wrong)
The day after this, and Skacel signs for United.
-
As much criticism as these things always get, perhaps having a specific 'singing area' at Pittodrie would help, similar to the ones they've had at Hampden for the past couple of seasons.
Often having one group singing I've found leads to people in other parts of the ground joining in, they've just needed someone to start up and it could create a better atmosphere.

He doesn't seem to be training with the squad and folk saying on twitter he is in London.
I'd guess that means we've seen the last of him.

Performance was OK. Thought Dundee United played well, better than Kilmarnock a couple of weeks ago. A bit surprised they've been doing so poorly. Draw was a fair result. Where did everyone get those seagulls from?
Also, was the referee complaining to the police about the fans? He seemed to head towards the policeman shortly before a corner and was pointing at us.

I'm pretty sure we have, several times
I may be wrong but I'm convinced the majority of matches I've seen on Alba involving Aberdeen have been 0-0 draws.

For FFS sake! I wish folk would stop whinging about their penalty! It was a stone-waller all day long and why so many folk can't see it is beyond me. What annoyed me more what the blatant dive earlier in the second half which went unpunished and not to mention the perfectly good goal we had chalked off. I also wish folk would quit saying it was for offside because it clearly wasn't. That spastic linesman thought it went out of play when it wasn't even close. Hence he made a bolt straight down the tunnel at the end. Bale was the different between the teams. We couldn't cope with him. He's some player. I thought Adam was brought on to bin him but he was just an embarrassment. Firstly his mindgames fail at Bale's penalty and then Bale owned him and jogged past him before smashing in the winner. For once I don't blame Levein for this one although I still think we should get him to fuck post haste.
So now we've effectively got no chance of qualifying/ Do we want a result that would push Levein closer to the exit? A lot of folk reckon he'll get his jotters after the Belgium game but I fear he'll be kept on. He's certainly not going to walk.
Maloney's pass to Adam was offside, it was close but it was offside. It was a bit bizarre but the correct decision was made in the end.
As for the penalty I've watched it a few times and I'm still unsure, but they should have had a penalty after Berra's bizarre hug/rugby tackle in the box a few minutes earlier.
Hard to be angry at decisions, Scotland didn't deserve anything better than a loss. We were awful.
-
What is the latest with Fraser? I heard he was injured but apparently he was also on the bench yesterday for an U19 Scotland match.
Even without Fraser I think we should be looking to win this. Good results against Dundee United last season when we were playing poorly and they were playing relatively well. Now we have improved and they are sitting near the bottom having suffered some pretty awful results. If Aberdeen play as well as they did at Kilmarnock I can't see United being much of a problem.
3-0 Dons.

That ref was shocking - the Welsh penalty was never a penalty, but Scotland got away with about three very obvious penalty claims before that (Berra hugging in the box!).
For Scotland's first goal, Steven Fletcher was an absolute mile offside when the ball got passed to him, but the ref didn't notice it. Then for the header from Morrison that was totally onside, he goes and chalks the goal off for offside (he wasn't offside when the ball was lobbed over to him and still wasn't offside when he headed the ball into the net).
Dunno why I am whinging, I just don't care about Scottish football at the moment, and haven't done so since the days of Berti.
Didn't the first goal come from a goal kick?
Also think the one chalked off was because the linesman thought the ball had gone out rather than anything else.
Some odd decisions but overall Wales were the better side and deserved it. The Berra rugby tackle thing was odd, clear penalty.

I like Anderson and think he's played well since coming back, thought he was one of the best players against Hibs. He had a poor game against Kilmarnock though I felt. His delivery was awful and positionally he looked poor as well as looking a little caught out a couple of times. That is the first poor match I've seen him have since coming back and overall feel very pleased with his performances this season.

Picked up a thigh injury in the under 18 Scotland match according to his twitter.

This guy cannot get enough PR at the mo!

Though he is right, the pressure is very much on Latrine.
I was thinking that, seems like he hasn't been out of the news lately, quite impressive for a player who's yet to actually get a game this season.
Nice to see an Aberdeen player getting a cap for a Scotland match I guess.
-
Very good, particularly the second half. A wee bit sloppy in the first but still looked the better team. Second half was similar to the St Johnstone match. Outplayed Kilmarnock.
Some brutal tackles on Fraser today, surprised tere wasn't a red at the end. Positive performance though.

I thought that should have been a red. There where a few bizarre decisions in that game, other than that and the hand ball in the box. There was one point where Hibs got a free kick after the Hibs goal keeper caught the ball at a corner, then dropped it after running into a Hibs defender, whilst not being within two feet of an Aberdeen player, and somehow got a free kick.
I also thought Maggenis being taken down from a professional foul by the last man before a goal scoring opportunity would require a red card, even if it were a fairly soft foul.
I'm not used to watching Aberdeen play on TV but with the advantage of replays etc it seemed to emphasise how often referees make mistakes.
