I would rather we did what Hibs and Falkirk have done, both clubs have looked for young players who havent made the grade in the prem or reserves and have been let go by the clubs so they can sign him. This way if the lad turns out to be a success then you can make some cash ( an alien concept to aberdeen) when he goes back to england. There are players there to be found and with europe (hopefully) we have a good chance of attracting a player against the lure of big money in the championship.

No way did Maguire have a worse game than Mackie I know its arguing different shades of shite but Mackie did nothing constructive the whole game where as Maguire had some good runs. Mackie was gifted a one on one with the keeper and gave the boy a pass back

Just in A few thoughts Motherwell were shite and there for the taking, they only played for 20 minutes when we went to 4 5 1 on another day we would have got the second and hammered them. Even at the end when they pressed us back we looked dangerous. Mackie was a waste of a shirt.
