My gut feeling has us signing off on our latest Euro "adventure" with a win. With the exception of that pathetic performance in Greece, we have not really been all that bad in all the other games. For sure the first half performance could have and should been a lot better, it was pathetic. Yes the final result could have been a lot better, there are certainly positives to take from last night 100% How many minutes were Lazetic and Nisbet on the park at the same time? how many goals did we score during that time? (jist saying) we also managed to have Lazetic, Nisbet and Karlsson playing together in the same team and we looked much better when we did that. He simply has to give in and change things a bit and start with two strikers up front (Lazetic and Nisbet) put their names first on the team sheet in a two up front formation then build the rest of it around them. Do that and we will win comfortably 2 (maybe 3) - zip Start with any other line up and we will be forced to watch the usual eye bleeding turgid shite and scrape a 0-0 Or maybe just maybe steal three points at the end again (which we would all accept) but for fuk sake Jimmy there are easier and more efficient ways to achieve this. Totally this 110%. If our starting 11 on the pitch had the same commitment and attitude that Devlin has then we would be winning more games than we would be losing that is a fact. On the Livi game itself now that is most certainly the definition of winning ugly but we won and we take the three points and move on to the St Midden game tonight. Now that did make me laugh mate, (needed that cheers min) I have said it from the first time I seen Milanovic in a dons shirt he is pish and not the standard we should be bringing in. As for Karlsson he is a selfish little twat and will never be a team player, we need to be cutting his loan short and sending him back. Has Lazetic got some sort of lead weights in his beets that prevents him from attempting to jump to win a header, seems to more interested in trying to wrestle defenders to the ground than focusing on where the ball is and fcukin jumping for it if he has to (frustrating as fcuk watching him) It's no big secret I am a fan of Nisbet, I like the lad a lot and was delighted when we brought him back full time in the summer window. We just need to try and play with a formation and tactics that will enable him to play to his strengths and be far more productive. But sadly our useless cunt of manager seems to be just too fkn stubborn to admit that he needs to change his approach and he continues with trying to ram good quality round pigs firmly into square holes which is clearly nae working and will ultimately cost us much more points than it will ever earn us.

Taking his personal situation out of the equation here I would still be resting him and numerous others tonight as this game is pretty meaningless and the trip to Livi on Sunday much more important

Personally would leave him out of tonight's game. The away trip to Livi in the league this coming weekend is far more important in the grander scheme of things. No harm in resting him both mentally and physically.

Not so sure if this is a serious question but if it is there are actually loads of formation options as RicoS321 has already pointed out, here are a few example formations for you just in case you missed it. If Thelin wants to continue with a back three then he can go 3-5-2 or 3-3-2-2 or 3-4-1-2, if he want to change he can go with the traditional 4-4-2 Continuing with the lone striker approach will ultimately cost us more points than it will earn us, of that I am 100% sure. With this approach at the moment then to be honest Kevin Nisbet is a complete waste of a shirt and a waste of a wage, I (like others have said) feel sorry for Nisbet, he has quality and is a goal scorer we all know that, but we need to be adaptable with our formation, and go with two strikers up top when the time is right and that should be in the majority of home games at least, but Jimmy appears to be too stubborn to change, which is a shame. Think I am not alone by saying I would like to see us go with two strikers (Nisbet and Lazetic) We have the depth in squad to be able to do that, but will we ever see it ? then probably not. Which is quite sad to be honest

These lads are no mugs, but do seem to be toiling a little bit in their league with only one win in their last 5 matches We will need to play better than we did yesterday that's for sure which I am sure we are capable of. Going for 2-0 the good guys (Nisbet x2)

How we won that yesterday I will never know but will take it, but I hope this is not a sign of things to come as that was pretty dire stuff. First half was ok second half we were awful Thought Jack Milne was our best player by a country mile, Armstrong was also decent and to be fair to Topi he had one of his better games, the rest of them were pretty much meh. I know Milanovic was only on the park for about 10 mins but even that is 10 minutes too much We really need to be starting especially our home games with two up front, Lazetic seems to struggle in the lone striker role in the same way that Nisbet does. I would really like to see the two of them playing along side each other as I am sure that could be the answer to our goal scoring problems. A win is a win and great to burst the diets bubble, but we do need to play much much better

Equal with St Midden we have currently scored the least amount of goals in the league (8) Conceding goals is not really as big a problem as a lot of folks tend to be making out, as outside the ugly sister and the diets we are 4th in that department (conceded 12 till now) So it's clear the scoring is by far a bigger problem than conceding, so I will say it once again Jimmy. FFS this is not fkn rocket science, start with two up top in at least every home game (namely Nisbet and Lazetic) and build the rest of the starting 11 around them. Do that at home and for sure 100% we will win more games than we draw or lose, it's pretty fkn simple really, but yet you continue to try ramming square pegs into round holes. You just need to stop being a stubborn tw@t. Start this game with Nisbet and Lazetic up front and we will win this, starting with anything else is asking for trouble and will be 0-0 at best. do the right thing and we will win 2-0 and burst their bubble, do the wrong thing and the diets train will keep on trucking

Perhaps I was not exactly clear, as when I said start with two up front Lazetic and Nisbet is exactly what I meant. I honestly believe if we play them two up front regularly we will win far more games than we will lose. I am not so sure who we "sacrifice" to play both Lazetic and Nesbit but going by the last few games there are plenty fkn choices as with the exception of Dylan Lobban they have all been mince.
