theres a small paragraph on the back page that has a small headline saying
"dons in the huff day 5"
Good.
Hopefully it will breed some form of siege mentality at the club.
-
The "list" as printed in the paper:
Not too much to get upset about there is there?
Touzani and Bus not going to feature much with Bus only on contract til summer anyway.
Lovell we all know is going and Jimmy has bascially said he aint getting a new contract offer.
Trying to offload Dan Smith in last 3 transfer windows.
Mair and Macnamara maybe but both not really good enough to take us forward on what we have seen, with the latter likely to go into coaching.
Walker and Aluko JC has said will both be going in summer anyway.
Edit: Should really say that not talking to EE can only be a good thing and should be extended to JC aswell but this way is petty.
From your list: Discounting the ones who are returning to their clubs/definately offski, I would keep JDV and Touzani.

Well its nae the majority of fans.
i agree with ye

As much as I believe Charlie Allan is as much a writer as I am a deep sea wood welder, part of me thinks that the guy is merely writing in the belief that he is the voice of the fans.
If you were to go onto the likes of the hat and read the posts of a few high number posters there then you would think JC is the worst thing ever to happen to the club.
-
There's nothing that JC could say that would win over certain sections of our fans.
Exactly.

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
Looking to me like one of the albums of the year already. Most of you will probably have heard the track "Time to Pretend", I'm sure it's used on a TV advert. If you're into electronica like The Rapture/LCD Soundsystem/of Montreal mixed with a wee bit of indieish psychedelia like Dandy Warhols, you'll probably like this.
Anything like that two bands and it should be good, will give it a download.
Black Kids - Wizards of Ahhhs
Like The Go! Team with guitars, it's quite good indie-pop.
Gave them a listen earlier this year, sounded a lot like the Cure off at times.

Can our esteemed board of directors actually afford to let yet another player walk away from the club?? I mean, they are ripping into us, the fans for not supporting the club, BUT to see your most creative player at the moment walk, hardly inspires the fans. In fact it would piss me right off if he does go because worse than not showing ambition, it looks as if the board simply do not give a fuk.
If he wants to go then let him go. His next contract his likely to be his last and that means he will have little or no resale value to the club. During his period at the club its is only in the last season or so that he has started turning the performances in.
The club is bigger than any player and Im sure he will be replaced by someone else.
-
Seve has been shite for more than just this season, last season he was horrendous bar 3 or 4 games. He's lost a yard of pace and keeps trying to ping passes that do not happen for him anymore. It frustrates me greatly because he had the opportunity to be a legend at our club but consistently shows us that he doesn't give a rats arse.
Totally agree.
IIRC didnt we have a few good performances/results when he was dropped earlier in the season ?
-
Charlei Allan = P45
Fingers crossed.
I agree with some that this is one of the best things Seve has down all season.
I saw the EE when I went to get a Chinese tonight and its laughable especially this
Calderwood did not name any of the players, so we printed a list of those believed to be most under threat. -
Esson was not only crap, he was an utter tool around town apparently.
Wouldnt like to see him back with the Dons.
-
A wee whip round by the more sensible Dons fans would be a good idea. Of course I'd be willing to chuck some cash in if it's not someone on KKK pocketing the cash again.
I would throw in a few quid too as long as its nae going to fund an inflatable Pierce Brosnan.
-
That's absolutely shite behaviour.
-
Maguire off the pitch seems to have as much sense as his on pitch persona.
Any player that happily sticks on his Celtic shirt after playing in/pumped in an away reserve match against Celtic needs a kick up the arse.
-
Yeah, could be which also suggests he's lost the dressing room.
The Seve scenario is likely to have lost him the dressing room too.
-
My one hope with the whole scenario is that people realise that all is not well in the Pittodrie dressing room.
Its an old boys club at the moment with players being continually selected even if their performances do not merit it.
-
Players need dropped at a domesitc level if they even want a bench space at Bayern.
Very few of them deserve to be in the starting line up.
Its common knowledge that many of the squad know that what ever happens they will be in the team week in week out.
-
Well if you think the mood is bad on here you should see it elsewhere. Know i shouldn't have but just had a scout o'er at KKK site. A' the usual suspects, none of whom have apparently been at the match tonight on calling for JC's heid yet again.
I know its my own fault, but I feel so depressed now, I may not make it on here or to work tomorrow.
I couldn't help myself either
-
Im nae going to say Clangers should be dunted as he has in general had a good season.
Seve though should have been out of the club a long time ago. Russell Anderson is not only missed on the pitch but his presence as club captain is also missed. The jokers/pissheads at the club now take the utter piss and Mr Severin has been Bertie Big Bollocks at Todders all season.
Its plainly obvious that some of these players will never be dropped. They know it and the rest of the squad knows it. JC has gotten himself and the club into this situation, he no has to deal with it as all is not well at Pittodrie.
-
Thank fuck.
Won't have to look at this.....
Good for kicking folk with no foreskin but couldnt see him in an Aberdeen shirt.
None big enough for a start.

Motherwell move rejected.

Please let the move to the Dons be the reason

Been out for nearly a year but only got round to listening to it over the past few days.
Its blooming marvellous.
Also been listening to Mew - Frengers, again another fine album.

And v. Cove.
That seems like years ago now. Morale was high and I hadnt been so excited about the start to a season since we brough in Duncan Shearer.

I hope he is
Could be that some folk are confusing a extremely vocal minority for the majority of Dons fans.
