  2. I have been working my way through the Red Riding books. I've finished the first three, and thought 1980 was the best. Just started 1983 last night.
  3. I actually thought Carragher deserved to go. He might have got his foot on the ball, but he dragged Zamora to the ground first. They (Liverpool) are a total shambles though!
  4. It doesn't say. When did McGhee sign again? - these accounts are to June 30th 2009. Perhaps the second half of the £482K "contract termination and other restructuring costs" includes Motherwell's pay off?

http://www.afc-chat.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=22621&view=findpost&p=569496 Apparently we should be merging with AFC-Chat.
  6. Operating loss was £322K but the loss for the financial year was £1.642M - is this not our true loss? Also, I note that the binning of Calderwood and co ("contract termination and other restructuring costs") was £482K, which is nowhere near as much as some were suggesting. Another thing to note, is that the "highest paid director" received £158K (was £212K in 2008). I ain't received my report yet (its available on redweb) - fucking workshy posties!
  7. Primal Scream - Burning Wheel
  8. Leighton was a FAR better keeper than Goram, in almost every part of his game (bar perhaps his kicking).
  9. Pat Nevin saying we were unlucky and put in a great shift. Both sendings off were controversial. I'm saying that, I predicted 2-0 :-(
  10. James May's Toy Stories about Airfix was a superb hour of TV.

    Jokes

Does anyone know how to cancel a bid on e-Bay? I put a bid in for a mickey mouse outfit and now I'm only six minutes away from owning fucking Rangers!
  12. Look's like they've got a hold of each other's boaby.
  13. Best hope is a 0-0 draw, but can really see us getting beat 2-0.
  14. Aye, the Boston Tea Party for one, I'm sure there's some good books about it out there.
  15. Re: Trinity Centre - There's also an entrance from the car park by getting the lift.
  16. How many do you order?
  17. Aye, a £50,000 transfer fee!
  18. 5 if you include the fact you can get in through the bookshop. Worst discussion ever?
  19. Yep, but Man U's interest will have cooled thanks to Harper!
  20. I was quite pleased with that one! I've now got a hankering for a meze in the Nargile due to this thread!
  21. Efes!
  22. The Prodigy - Fire
  23. Its next door to the Trinity Shopping Centre!
  24. Fuck off Harper, this is the last thing the loon needs.
  25. VHS or Beta - Night on Fire
