I think a lot of Thelins success (initially with us) was down to the coaching team as a whole and things went markedly downhill after Emir Bajrami left. He was a really passionate guy and probably provided more balance in that he wouldn't have been afraid to give it tight to players who weren't pulling their weight. We seemed to lose the ability to attack as effectively after that. Would have been interesting to see how it would have panned out if they had kept him. Hopefully the lack of success for Horny Eirik in France had nothing to do with his assistant from Brann not joining him.
