  1. Asked him if he could help us get our new stadium. He laughed and said Stewarty Milne had already been asking Fair play to the guy, the first photo that was taken didn't come out well, and i asked for a second one and he started to walk off. However, it turned out he was just walking up to a fan to ask if we could borrow the scarf for the photo. He was a top bloke actually, whether you like him politically or not
  2. Och that's fantastic!!! Well done to all those who donated
  3. Unfortunately not, sorry Because the BBC are covering the match, there'll be atleast 11 people up there. Also, the pie bribe aint so good.... Free Pittodrie Pies up there at half time!! But yeh... Sorry! I would if i could!
  4. That's pretty fucking accurate! Anyway, nice to meet you lot! If you ever see me milling about, just say hi! I work matchdays at Pittodrie up in the South Stand gantry so if you're in the south stand, you'll see me around
  5. Well atleast we were on the same wavelength! Were you "CAPSLOCK" from AFC Chat? Pleased to meet you
  6. Me 2nd from the right incase anyone saw me
  7. Aye, we're talking about the same boy then. I had a laugh with the other lot in the fountain and know a few of them, but that one guy was a prick. Had no time for him whatsoever. Also, some fucking arsehole came up to me and said "take my picture" and upon telling him that i didn't have a camera, started getting all arsey and demanding i find one. Felt like binning the fat bastard as he started getting really mouthy, calling me a 'cunt' because i wouldn't take his picture. Always idiots like this who spoil the day. Regardless, i had the time of my life in Madrid. Fucking magic Actually, oops... this is the introduction thread and we're deviating from the topic. But yeh.... I'm Simmy, i probably met you all in Madrid, so... um.... Hi
  8. Aye, i 'm not a violent person at all but the aberdeen guy came up to him when the other guy was crying and dumped foam all over him and started rubbing it in his face. Needless to say i told him very angrily to fuck off, and thankyfully he did
  9. Boy in the Aberdeen 3rd kit jumped on him and slammed him into the fountain. Smashed his back on a ledge under the water. Was a real shame, the guy could hardly move and had tears streaming down his face.
  10. Aye, cream/grey-ish jacket. Think that was me. In all seriousness, felt really sorry for that guy. He was having a laugh and enjoying himself. When i helped him out he was actually crying.
  11. I'm Simmy and im from Westhill I'm the fool who helped the black 'Italia' fan out of the fountain in madrid.
  12. Eh?! Since when were they on sale?
  13. For a flare?! What the fuck?!
  14. who with mate? British Airways http://www.sidestep.co.uk/air/select_details.do?uniqueId=179306
  15. Aberdeen - Madrid on the 27th and back on the 30th is £136
  16. Right folks, time to book madrid!! How's everyone getting there?
  17. I predict DT will die on its arse any minute now
  18. Will hopefully be another night planned for next year
  19. Can i suggest that DT implements a feature that shows you who is reading the thread you're in?
  20. I have. In the free bar of the Gothenberg tribute night. Me, 2 of my mates, the team, Jack Webster and Buff Hardie. The most surreal, but brilliant, night ever. For what it's worth, he was on cracking form. As was Mark McGhee, who got us into the free bar by drunkenly suggesting we come in for autographs as "there's only 4 of you" (see how many folk i described as being with me.....). I was there also with McGhee, Simmy, Cooper etc but don't remember anyone else being there! It WAS a free bar however and i was drunk, so maybe my memory is a bit lax But yeh... If i saw you and didn't say hi then sorry! Or maybe i did? As was mine. I remember standing speaking to Jim Cummings and saying how it was a disgrace the way "that boy Cummings" was treated by Stuart Milne, only for him to hold out his hand and say "Jim Cummings, nice to meet you..." You weren't one of the lads sitting at the back of the 3 tables, were you? Someone said they were Simmy's kids. We were too dumb/awe struck to pay any notice to anyone else, really. Indeed, we were actually too afraid to go to the bar in case someone clocked we weren't officially invited, and lobbed us out. Then Mr McGhee got us a round in, and told us to get tucked in. That was us!! I genuinely don't rememeber anyone else being there, sorry if i missed you. I was as awe-struck as you, doing tequilla slammers with McGhee and Cooper isn't something i'll forget in a hurry, despite the hazy recollection the next day! But yeh... Brilliant night! Next time i'm at one of these events i'll look out for a massive, walking, talking bristly tache

  22. I think the best thing at the moment would be more users. Since Donstalk disbanded, mostly everyone has gone their seperate ways and all the old members are scattered across about 4 or 5 different messageboards. If you could get an initiative started to get these people back, so this is the one place you are guaranteed to get constant discussion and replies, it'd be brilliant.
