hmm, that's a really tough one.
well, we can win, lose or draw in each and every of our four games. There are a large combination of results that can give us between 0 and 12 points in our group.

certainly other grounds around europe have flares let off on a regular basis, pretty much every match in Turkey, a lot in Spain and Italy etc,
but if you do some detective works......
Jute, Hotels confirmed!!! ;D
Now, git oan wi' thon Trains loon!!!!
Have ye found oot where pyrotechnics can be purchased in Kiev yet? I've got a place in Dnipro but we wouldn't have the fun of settin off smoke bombs on the train if we wait till then ;D
I think I'm goin to be sufferin from Jagerdeath by the time I get to Dnipro.
Will prob smuggle a cairy oot on tae the flight from Amsterdam - no way I'm putting up with just one round o drinks from the KLM girls!!!! I've only got an hour in schipol so only gives me time for 3 pints of Heineken!

watched sportscene last night and was thoroughly disappointed with the dive that earned de visscher his second penalty.
Is it not somewhere else on this board that slates mikaloukanoukasisissis for his dive? I for one die hard dons fan do not want to see this sort of kak happening in a red jersey, and hope he gets a new arse tore out of him for that.

Think every team, bar Copenhagen, have had indifferent seasons. I think Copenhagen may be one of the tougher games, as they're really experienced in Europe.
Panathinaikos - Played 4 - Won 2 - Drawn - 2 - Lost 1 (4th)
Lokomotiv Moscow - P 26 - W 11 - D 6 - L 9 (6th)
FC Copenhagen - P 12 - W - 7 - D 4 - L 1 (1st)
Atletico Madrid - P 7 - W 3 - D 2 - L 2 (6th)
Aberdeen - P 9 - W 3 - D 2 - L 4 (8th
Panathinaikos are doing really well then - played 4, but got 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss!!!!

Panathanaikos at home
Moscow away
Atletico Mardrid home
Copenhagen away
Any idea when the dates for the ties will be set??
going by this statement off Uefa.com
Two home, two away
Each club will play two matches at home and two away on 25 October, 8 November, 29 November, 05/06 December, 19/20 December. A computer draw will determine the fixture schedule with factors such as stadium clashes and climatic conditions - it is not possible to play in some northern countries in mid-December - taken into account.
I think the 'Computer' will put our away match in December at either Greece or Spain. and have Copenhagen and Moscow come to us

for those not yet in the know
Panathanikos
Atletico Madrid
Lokomotiv Moscow
FC Copenhagen
ABERDEEN
can't see us going any further, but four corners of Europe or what?!?

So how is loaning him to another team going to get us a return on our investment? There is never any guarantee that anyone will ever pay anything for this clown, unless JC signs him again when he's manager of Melchester Rovers or Timbucktoo United.
You're right, AFC is a business. Time to cut our losses.
gets a number of benefits
1 - gets another team to pay his wages
2 gets him first team football
3 gets him in the shop window
even £50k is money to use on someone else.
-
sign him, if no-one buys him, loan him out.
AFC is a business after all, code of conduct or not, need some sort of return on their investment.
-
jeez people
if his contract runs out in the summer he'll sign a pre-contract in January and we get nothing. Sign him onfor another year and we'll get money. It's not recket science. if it were, we'd all be building rockets.

don't be fucking daft.
if clangers is a better keeper, he's still on our books so shoudlplay, regardless of
a) he has fallen out with calderwood or
b) he doesn't want to be there. If this is hte case, he will play well to attract another team to take him on. If he plays like shite, no-one will be interested in him.
personally, I don't think there's much between the two keepers, so I would go with the one with more experience and who wants to put himself in the shop window as he'll try harder to get a deal elsewhere.
And all this gash about losing the dressing room? How can that be if he's introduced dung who is a great laugh in there.

aye, it's really shite sitting inside getting waitress's serve you beer, having a nice meal, then sitting in padded seats. Then steaming hot tea and free pies (yes they are smaller, so you have two) at half time. Then in again for more tea or beer at the final whistle.
crap that is.
disna matter where you sit, and it's not as if the club is being cheated out of the cash, hospitatlity is farrrrr more expensive. Instad of £20 ticket + maybe £10 of tea & pie, the cheapest hospitality is £70 without the dinner. So they actually benefit the club.

I think a 1-1-8 would reap rewards

I have heard worrying rumours that we may potentially lose up to six players in January. If this happens, is it not time to start asking our rather quiet board of directors just what the hell they are up to as, let face it Wiggy has resided over the worst period in Aberdeen football clubs history. Fair enough it depends on who these players are, but do we actully have the depth of squad to lose that amount of personnel?
yawn

didn't watch the game as I'm in the states, but reading the beeb, seems like we were vaseline'd up and pumped?
although it does mention a couple of good chances missed first half
