You can see whatever you want about Glass as an inspiring coach or changing players for the better. However, his record is utter shite. He's been in management for 2 and a half years and not proven to be successful yet. And all this talk about bringing youth to AFC. That's great but I wouldnt rely on Scottish youth to get us success. This isnt Man United in the early 90s. Foreign management, foreign players, foreign ideas (mixed with some AFC youth and Scottish SPFL) And I'd take Griffirhs in a heartbeat. ?

He studies some of the best players all around Europe and makes reports on them then discusses their role with Martinez (manager of the best team on the planet for a tiny country with a similar population to ours) Making a detailed analysis on how players play in the big leagues of Europe and coaching top players for the best team in the world alongside Thierry Henry (a legend in football) , exemplifies a pretty good pedigree. I dont think Glass or Goodwin are anywhere near that quality of information or experience.

If they want a return on their investment then take a punt on a fantastic manager. There's loads out there. I suggested one 2 weeks ago who is probably eligible if the right offer was on the table. I would be happier with Maloney out of that lot simply because he's been with Belgium and a hugely successful brilliant team who play superb attacking football. But he's not proven in management so still a big risk there. I think Cormack wants results long term and the board see major changes. I hope.

Personally no because he doesnt have a great record as a head coach and is still under contract. I like the idea of Maloney being a younger manager with the addition that he has an actual interest/support for AFC. I would be willing to give Maloney a go more than the other names going around like Glass, Levein, Lennon etc.

Being assistant to the best team in the world is fantastic on your CV and would perhaps be great in recruiting Belgian youth who knows . Fantastic experience to move up to head coach imo. I expect our club to be beating the cheeks every so often. I expect us to be getting some silverware once in a while. I expect a manager to not dick players around who show potential or score then are dropped. A manager who doesnt buy duds. A training schedule that strengthens players not one where they always get injured. A better recruitment team who look elsewhere and dont go for the easy option. I expect a manager who can find a football player somewhere in the world who can score a fucking goal. A manager who sticks to a set up and believes in it. A manager who doesn't bring old players back because they were decent once. A team that can get past the qualification in Europa. The list is endless. Anyone who still wants a failing manager to stay with us does not see our potential being thwarted huge!
