  1. 2 - 0, foster brace. Mark my words!!
  2. Well, having lived in one of Stewarty Milnes local developments for the past few years I can honestly say it's no bloody wonder AFC are a shambles! Talk about cutting corners! I dread to think what horrors lie behind my plasterboards. Probably stuffed with old wigs for insulation.
  3. Help us Russell one kenobi. Your our only hope!!
  4. Although i would agree that jim jeffries has done a good job and at least understands the word 'tactics' I just don't think people would warm to him up here. I heard the kilmarnock faithful are not that keen on him either even when he's constantly made kilmarnock punch above their weight and brought a few pennies in as well with the selling of naismith etc. He's only struggling this year because he can't replace what he's sold. At the end of the day you just have to look at the likes of levien and mcGhee who have done wonders with their limited squads. Just all comes down to hard work on the training ground and players who have a clear understanding of what they have to do on the pitch at matchday. AFC are shambolic at times with players even failing to do the simpliest of things.
  5. Hope it snows next weekend quite fancy some snowboarding. Least that's enjoyable.
  6. Least he can't blame the fans like in his dunfermline days.
  7. Wonder if JC will come out of this moaning about the player's as usual?
  8. He'll be up here for his weekly rowie pick up
  9. Wow, pretty amazing Lovell hasn't been injured yet since he's usually out for half a season. Oop's! just gone and jinxed it.
  10. Is there ever a time Calderwood shoulders the blame for the poor performances/tactic's/team selection? It's always the players who get the blame. Well guess what tango man, you bought them and picked them for the team. Apparently the players play well and pass the ball in training and decide for some reason not to do it on a Saturday? Maybe we'll have to go and watch the training games to see the team perform and string three passes together.
  11. Offer Nicholson a 3 year deal on better terms. I'm sure he'd prefer to stay if the offer was right. Could be the cherry on top to convince Calderwood to stay put.
  12. Now, lets get Nicholson a better deal.
  13. It's funny that the only way clark will get dropped from the team if someone buys him. What does JC see in him anyway? is it because he's a good boy at training and always put's the effort in fooling JC into thinking he's a determined tenacious player who fights for the shirt? The fact that no other team made an offer for him in the past few years he's been playing for us says it all. If your a good player outwith the old firm then someone usually comes in for you.
  14. Just hope if he does sign on that his form doesn't desert him again like before. We can't afford to keep dead weight on the payroll. Which reminds me, how's Macnamara coming along?
  15. Jimmy only needs a defence and stikers. No replacements needed for midfield.
  16. Yup, can't argue with that. What does Touzani have to do to get in the team though? surely he's a better option to Lee Mair?
  17. What's that? the third team we've played this season that have been reduced to 10 men and we still struggle against them not winning the game. Another poor performance again today by the sounds of it with the mighty Falkirk dominating possession and unlucky not to win it. Lovell again brought on as a sub. Are we obvious or what?
  18. Kurrant was a midfielder wasn't he? no wonder he left since jimmy doesn't know what a midfield is.
  19. Used to be a highland league regular years ago (during the huntly glory years) and the standard of football on offer was good. Always entertaining. Most of the teams who played back then at least tried to play on the deck and string the passes together. Also, on occasions Huntly played Premier league teams in the cup, more often than not they were the better team outplaying them for most of the match. It was the professional side who would just lump it upfield and go for free kicks or rely on their superior fitness to get them through. Sometimes I watch AFC and wonder what they do all week as they can't even get the basics (i.e pass to a player in the same coloured shirt) right. Also, do we have a midfield? Oh, to have the likes of Jim bett spraying the passes and linking the play instead of just lumping it up for Miller to head on. Can't argue with the season so far mind. Just wish we'd play a bit of football more often.
