  1. From Twitter The only part of Willies statement that is wrong is Rangers The Rangers....sorted..
  2. Saturday 4th August Salford City v Leyton Orient National League 12:30 BT Sport 1 Really hope that Adam Rooney does a great job at Salford City starting today. He was a great servant for Aberdeen and left on good terms with the fans and club.
  3. Barry Ferguson https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/lewis-ferguson-doing-family-proud-13028705 Hope he scores the winning Aberdeen goal against Sevco, that would really piss him off
  4. The Sun Crap from the Sun AGAIN, on the first day of the Scottish Premiership.
  5. Is the correct answer. I had over 3.000 posts on the Hat before I had Counselling...anyway Moult is on his way North.
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-45057153?ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_scotland_news&ns_mchannel=social&ns_linkname=scotland Next we will hear Chelsea fans were the alleged culprits and no huns were involved in the incident. A few hun fans are saying on Twitter they got what they deserved for picking a fight with The Rangers. The SPFL/SFA need to come down very hard on Sevco if their fans did the stabbing. All Aberdeen fans attending the match on Sunday keep safe.
  7. Nobody can say that May has showed anything since he arrived at Aberdeen D.M has to play him to justify the transfer money for him. I do not usually slam Aberdeen players and try to give them the benefit of the doubt but will make an exemption for May. I really hope he makes me eat my words on Sunday and scores the winner but will not hold my breath. Ps ...I gave Jamie Langfield the benefit of the doubt for a long long time
  8. Watching Stevie May in the Burnley match he showed he is not up to the standard of player that is required at Aberdeen. After watching him playing in recent games he has shown nothing. Okay he has had his injury problems but his time is over at Aberdeen. There must be a club willing to take him off our hands IF we can convince him to terminate his contract, if not, drop him from the first team and give a youngster a chance. D.M took a gamble with him and he lost.
  9. Okay we are out of Europe ( we would have not won the competition anyway ) but we are more than capable of winning the Scottish Premiership. Play like we did in the Burnley ties and their will be no complaints from me. Aberdeen 2 The Rangers 1 For folk unable to attend the match at Pittodrie it is live on RED TV International and SKY.
  10. From Twitter That should go down well for the few hun fans attending the game.
  11. Will be watching the match on BT tonight. Really hope we get the result needed to progress. Like most of these matches luck may be needed to see us through. Notice that all banners are banned in Turf Moor which may be a good thing after seeing some of them on Twitter, okay if we win but very embarrassing if it all goes tits up for us. Anyway, good luck to the boys and will be looking for the away goal to take us through to the next round. Ps... RED TV International have now live TV video coverage for folks outside the UK ( cough )
  12. Is the correct answer. Let's get the crowds back to Scottish football. There are teams in the Scottish Premiership who have under 4000 fans at their home games with half of them being away supporters and live TV featuring Celtic and The Rangers away games every week does not help the situation.
  13. This is the Daily Record's take on it …"Broadcast giants from around the world may be forced to pull the plug on plans to beam Steven Gerrard’s first league match as Rangers manager at Aberdeen on Sunday into the homes of tens of millions of viewers." £2million per year to broadcast SPFL games ( mostly the Ugly sisters) is a joke in the first place, good riddance to them.
  14. The Sun That will be the player McInnes will bring in before The Rangers game then.
  15. £5 Million from Swansea City should do it then.
  16. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2996939/rangers-wigan-glasgow-police-fight-football/ Not one word on any Sevco fans being involved in the article
  17. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/2999771/rangers-legal-bill-mike-ashley-sports-direct-replica-kits-deal/
  18. Here is a thought, why not go for Burnley target Peter Crouch. I know he is 37 years old but still scoring goals. We should be able to get him for around £500K.
  19. Watched a few of these games and wondered why most of the coaches are male. Would have though ex women hockey players would be doing that job.
  20. Burney will hold no fear for the Aberdeen players. The Dons have had some great away matches in the past. Aberdeen will get a result on Thursday. Keep the faith....
  21. Sky Sports http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11695/11451259/sunderland-consider-aberdeen-target-christian-doidge-of-forest-green-rovers I think that £750.000 is a bit over our budget, let Sunderland have him.
  22. Kyle Lafferty  https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2988402/kyle-lafferty-rangers-hearts-reject-bid/
  23. Some nice comments from the Burnley travelling fans on their messageboard.. http://www.uptheclarets.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=30840
  24. Superb performance from the Dons last night. Burnley applied a lot of pressure in the second half but Aberdeen did well against them. I was disappointed with May's performance when he came on but every player gave their all for the jersey. The away match should be a cracker and once again we will be expected to lose it but I have a feeling a shock is on the cards. Prediction for the second leg..... Burnley 0 Aberdeen 1
