  1. Today was an absolute shocker. Foster deserved his man of the match, since he was one of the few who seemed up for the game and scored an absolute peach. Brewster should not be on from the start as there were a couple of chances in the first half that lovell or someone with some pace might have reached. I think today was one of Brewsters worst games, and it's time for him to be benched. What must Lovel and Miller think if he's before them in the pecking order? Severin's not been at the races for weeks, and Jamie Smith was patently not match fit and neither of them seemed to be able to reach a player in a red shirt with most of their passes. Things improved later on, but we should never have conceded those goals and we should have cruised past that hibs line-up. I am not happy with these last few displays, and worry about what'll happen when Killie come calling, since we mugged them last time we played them, and never deserved ANY points, never mind all three! At least the tarts got beaten eventually, which is about the only thing preventing my lower lip from sticking out in a sulky display of petulance.
  2. Surely the very definition of a fitba fan is to be an eternal optimist. Especially if you're supporting the Dons and Scotland! If i wasn't an optimist I'd have stop going to pittodrie a good few seasons ago. It can still be done, but i sincerely hope saturday wasn't the sound of our bottle going. Yet again, we lost a game when it meant a lot, but so long as the tarts keep slipping up we're still in with a chance.
  3. It can only be Anderson, he's been an absolute stand-out again this season. No-one else has been as consistent this season in my book.
  4. Hola Folks, I've been scabbing about in afc forums pretty much since i started 'working' numerous years ago. Unfortunately, over the years work pressures now dictate that it's only an occassional evening thing as opposed to reading and posting during pretty much every working day. Going to be hitting 33 in a few days time, and the first bairn's appearing in a couple of months First game would have been in the early '80's against whom is unfortunately lost in the mists of time, but billy stark scored and we won. Unfortunately this meant being brought up to think the success would never end, and then we hit the mid-90's on.... still, a nice wee win tomorrow afternoon will manage to put a smile on my face!
