  1. Decent enough performance, although we looked a bit rusty.

Lewis never had a save to make all night but was picking the ball out the net, at the very end, unbelievable :dunno:

Very impressed with the lad Gallagher (looks very like Jamie Smith the way he moves), & Hedges looks okay.

Thought McKenna was a rock last night & Logan looked good up till his costly error at the end :hammer:

Scott Wright has to do more imo! big chance for him last night, the boy Sissoko looked decent for them last night i thought & their keeper played a blinder.  Surprised D.M never hooked Cosgrove & replaced him with Main, especially as he was on a yellow, Cosgrove really should have bulged the net on about 5 occasions, missing 3 or 4 sitters.

I can still see us scoring & winning over there though, but we dont half make life hard for ourselves.

  2. McGeouch coming to us we would need to at very least match his Sunderland wages of £8k/wk. Whilst I'm certain we could and would do that for the correct player......I'm not certain McGeouch is that right player.

Indeed I'd love to know how much we are spunking on Wilson. I really hope it works out....if he shines we might make a nice profit on him come January or next summer. But if he matches last season's performance then it's money down the toilet.

Purely just a guestimate TC, but i would imagine we are paying Wilson somewhere around  the £5/6 k a week mark, which is still big money for us .

  3. I would still be delighted if he stayed.  Don't get me wrong I can understand the concerns mentioned but I just think he's a really good player and we would be a better side with him in it.

He is, but no man is bigger than the club, would you want him here if we are his last resort ?

  4. Excellent news on both fronts. Bryson is definitely more like the signing we were all hoping to see. It says pre-contract. When does he actually join us? Given our first qualifier is 3 weeks away, I'm hoping it's July?

I would imagine his deal ends June 30th, hence the pre contract. :dunno:

  5. Departures confirmed, no real surprises as it is mostly loans.

OUT - Greg Stewart, James Wilson, Dom Ball, Greg Halford, Max Lowe and a few youth players, David Craddock, Morgan Brown, Ryan Harrington. Add to that Shinnie & Reynolds who have signed elsewhere.

Think we will see 2 of those loanees return.

  6. Not a great 1st half & hibs edged it, 2nd half we edged it.  Well worked goal by Wilson & a terrible pen.by Cosgrove.

Big ovation for Shinnie at the end & D.M too. We are not great to watch though.

Still 3 points, unfortunately not enough for 3rd. Good backing from Dons fans

  7. I'd quite happily try and get deal done for Hoban, not an ideal scenario, but the chance of getting a quality player who could potentially get us some money in the long term is one I would be willing to take and sure he would be easy to deal with.

    Agreed
