  1. Brrr freezing today, thought we did okay in bits of game, but defence still looking shaky.

Big improvement today from McGinn (thought he was miles off pace at Perth), Cosgrove led line well & was a continual menace to Saints.

St.Mirren actually played quite well & arguably deserved a draw, great penalty save by big Joe.

    Hard fought 3 points.

    M.o.t.m Cosgrove.

  2. Elgin, i find it (by far) the easiest away game to park at, you have an array of side streets & an asda 2mns away.

Best bet of all though is parking at Dobbies (5mns walk) taking slip road off motorway take 1st left & walk back across bridge

  3. Another 2 Year Contract Extension for Derek & Tony.

Bid of 10 Million accepted for McKenna from Chelsea, Hector coming in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

Alan Gow REALLY has been spotted in Greggs.

Shaun Maloney performs a dramatic U-Turn several years later and signs a years contract as a member of the playing squad.

Has to be one of those.

Is McGarveys house in Westhill built yet ? or Stuart Baxter being lined up as new boss ?

Still expecting some news coming from Pittodrie this week.

    if i was a betting man , it would involve S.M & /or D.C

  4. Brrrrr ! Not long back, another decent performance from Dons.

Actually just got in when County scored their pen. so dont know if it was a pen or not, we recovered well though & tbh we should have won by more, woodwork saving them from bigger defeat.

Great 1st goal from niall, Hedges 2nd goal, not sure if anyone got a touch. 3rd goal from big Andy was a good strike, actually he was probably my motm.

Good Dons support up creating a good atmosphere, must have been 2,000+

Well deserved 3 points , jings it was baltic though

  5. Decent game to be fair, surprised he started with 2 strikers, but think he got formation pretty much spot on.

My motm was either Ferguson or Vyner, Vyner really appears to be settling in midfield, also looking the like of Leigh.

Very well worked goal for 1st & good finish by Main :o  Killie actually knock the ball about well & have a few tidy players. Couple of good stops by Joe as per.  Ref Clancy had a bit of a mare as usual & missed a stonewaller for us.

Good game & good 3 points

  6. Seemed to boss the game & players appeared to be playing with some freedom, didnt expect that outcome at all tbh!

A lot of folk thinking we should stick with the midfield of Vyner & Leigh next week, but i dont think he will, probably find the blue eyed boy Fergie & Bryson will be in.  Credit where credits due though this was a good, unexpected win.

Seen highlights now , & it was never a pen, great save from Joe though & justice was done, all 3 of our goals were peaches, especially big  Sams dink over keeper.

Smaller than usual Dons support in Motherwell, but hopefully a few more performances like this will get the fans back on side.

  7. We stole that yesterday, i would say Livi had the 4 best chances of the game & their keeper wasnt tested once.

Our style of play is mind numbingly slow & boring to watch, somehow we got the 3 points through good luck, but we were shocking.

Thought Gregg Leigh was good & Considine our motm (again).

The negatives for me, McGinn (in particular) & Hedges were both totally ineffective , never getting past their man once.  Ferguson was poor again & Campbell i'm afraid just looked like a wee boy in midfield.

Main put himself about, but lets face it , he had a thankless task.

Makes you wonder what we actually do all week on the training ground :dunno:

Was expecting to see Wilson on the park especially as he did well as a sub, last time out at Livi.

The major positive for me,  bathed in glorious sunshine

  8. What happened at half time ?  Thought we looked fairly decent in 1st half & was expecting another goal or 2.

Lewis was very poor at their goal & the marking was non existant.

Can imagine Saints travelling down the road feeling a bit aggrieved tbh!

Why does D.M not manage to see the system we were playing wasnt working, was obvious with at least 30mns to go, when the changes should be made.

We should not be playing with 1 striker , get back to 442, bringing Wilson on for 10mns at the end, really ::)

McLennan looked absolutely honking when he came on, his decision making is atrocious i'm afraid.

Thought Ojo & Bryson did okay in 1st half & we lost our shape when they went off, Leigh did quite well  & if pushed was probably my m.o.t.m.

Eye bleeding stuff again though & is obviously driving fans away.

Fans losing faith in D.M's tactics (or lack of ).

  9. Thought we might struggle today & fancied a 1 1, happy i was wrong, all pretty comfortable tbh !

Thought Vyner,Leigh, Bryson,Ojo,Hedges all did well.

Quite difficult conditions & a poor crowd, but we played some decent stuff.  Should have been 2 up before we scored, 2 easy chances missed, Nialls in particular real sitter.

  10. If Taylor has had a setback, it will give us a chance to see how Vyner does in the centre, saw his debut at Paisley but hard to judge given farcical conditions .

Need to get back to winning ways asap. Hopefully see Bryson in the middle & would like to see 2 strikers (but wont hold my breath)

  11. Decided to give this a miss today, despite only being 45mns away by car, a combination of last Sun & Thurs has scunnered me a bit, also a heavy night out in Stoney last night & suffering big style.

Apparently about 3 k heading down, which is quite amazing ,considering.

Need to win  , can see a few players confidence taking a hammering in the last week.

2 1 the dons (Cosgrove, Hedges)

  12. Not long back & still drying out :o  Got what we deserved today, yes we should have had a pen & a goal ? but St.Mirren missed 2 absolute sitters both free headers.

Thought our best performer was Considine. but really, it was poor throughout with Vyner having a shocker.

Couldnt understand D.M taking on Wilson with 4 mns remaining  :dunno:

Got to say Wright & McLennan not doing it for me, Scott Wright in particular disappointing.  Ojo & Hedges ddnt impress either.

    Huge improvement needed Thursday.
