Tin hat on, neither is good enough for the Dons, Smith in particular had plenty of part games & looked ok in a couple of them, but never great i.m.o.

Shankland only tended to get the odd last 4 or 5 mns of a game, but even in that short time, never delivered.

Harsh mabye, but for me, neither is required standard.

Aye, hopefully Alex Neil does us a big favour & allows him to stay till season end, the longer he is here the more beneficial it will be for bringing the best out of others.

The young lad is different class.

Aye, seems very assured, good handling & good awareness.  Very happy with him. Good size aswell, which is handy at corners.

We can only hope Alex Neil & Norwich agree to extend his loan deal from January to season end, the young lad is a class act, hopefully he will revel on the big Hampden pitch next week, watching his quick feet leaving opposition players flapping about is a joy.

Our crowds really have to be at least 3k higher than present.

Some of Maddisons touches just leave me speechless, quick mind & quick feet. Has a very bright future to be sure.

Picked up my 3 tkts this morning, 9,300 approx sold then. would imagine shifted a few today pre match.

Looking like mabye 10-12,000 of us, 4-5,000 of them.

Total crowd of say 17/18 k in a 52k stadium, utter stupidity.

My m.o.t.m was Considine, strong performance.

T.b.h it could just as easily been  Hayes, Maddison or the excellent Shinnie, Mclean also had his best game for months.

Cant see Ryan being ready yet, is he even back in training yet ? I feel Saturday could be a pretty tough game, County bought a couple of decent players since last season.

Hopefully a decent crowd & decent weather.

Havn't got my tkts yet, but no rush surely.  dont even have travel arrangements sorted yet. but i will be going along with eldest loon.

I agree Reynolds regression was surprising & baffling, he was different class in his 1st season. Considine seems to run with lead in his boots (since his last injury) & Taylors distribution will give somebody heart failure.

They do all have good attributes though.

Thing is, i think we need a settled back 4 as chopping & changing every week , wouldn't help.

Who is your preferred c/b pairing for the Dons  ?

For me, Considine is a better c/b than l/b, Reynolds is quicker but too lightweight, Taylor is the biggest & does use his physique well  & recently we have O'Connor slotted in there.

Against the many hammer throwers we come up against should it be Considine /Taylor with O'Connor protecting them 'cos his distribution is pretty good.

Thoughts ......

I think i seen Morris warming up behind the goals at Parkhead recently, or did i imagine that ? many beers were had that day.

Seriously cant remember, but it was around 68/69, earliest memories Killie semi & Muirton,final v timothy & early Euro ties against likes of Celta Vigo & Juventus. Would have been around 5 or 6 at the time.

Would May be any better than Rooney or Stockley though ?  Would rather see a Scott McDonald type of nippy striker, mind you i thought Myles Storey was & he never seems to get a sniff.
