Despite our horrendous record at Hampden, 6 defeats on the bounce, I think we will win this fairly comfortably. Morton are a good side, no doubt about that after Saturdays thrashing on QOS but the Dons are on fire. Tactics - fairly simple - feed it to Maddison. He is an inspirational player in the mould of Varga, Zerouali or Jess.

Hoping for 2-0 tomorrow, Rooney & McGinn. Would like to see Jack on the bench if fit and get a 30 minute run out prior to the semi. McLean needs to bring his "game heid" tomorrow. None of our International call ups were overly exerted so expecting nothing less than a win tomorrow.

And that reason alone is why we should steer clear of former Dons as manager.

Utterly bizarre and hopefully that's Jacqueline's last gig anywhere. Will miss him though if only for the entertainment value.

I remember when the A team beat the Dons XI in a pre-seasoner at Pittodrie sometime late 60's. To be fair the reserves had a pretty decent line up. They used to get a few decent crowds. It was a pretty comprehensive win although I can't recall the actual score. First game was against Falkirk, early 60's I think we won 3-0 and I was hooked. Watched the game from the Enclosure in front of the Main Stand and remember my da lifting me over the turnstile and sitting on the wall at the front to watch the game as it was too high for me to see over.

After the 82 cup final demolition of Rangers I got cut off from the rest of the lads on the way back to the bus. There was I not a care in the world happily waving my Dons scarf when I suddenly realised I was slap bang in the middle of a about a dozen Hun c*nts. Needless to say I didn't come off best. Managed to just about crawl my way back to the bus. Have hated the minky b*stards with a passion ever since.

The Republic are away to Moldova on Sunday, I would be happy if Jonny is left on the bench again for now. He has to be knocking on the door for a starting place soon though.
